Batman has that look in his eyes, Like you shouldn't leave your open drink unattended around him.

Mattel's hip joints, like always, are crap. I might pick up Armored Batman to feed my mecha/armored suit fetish, but the rest will stay on the shelves.

I feel like I'm looking at another one of those Sasquatch sightings. In this age of wonderful digital technology, and camera phones that are on par with stand alone cameras...why can't people take friggen decent pictures! Especially if they're making ebay auctions! Would it hurt, to at least wait until you get home and have some decent lighting, rather than setting up the auction in the barely lit parking lot?

I don't mind the hip joints, but I do hate the cut/swivel joints above the knees. It is useful for posing but they look awful. The Batman head sculpt just looks bad in general and what's with the crook of his elbows cutting into the tops of his gauntlets?

I will pick up that armored Batman and probably Wonder Woman but nothing else looks very good so far. I wish DCC would produce some BVS figures and/or Mattel would lose the license to some other company that doesn't phone in everything.

Looking good. I probably won't be getting them all at once, but I'll definitely be getting all of them eventually. The "grapnel blaster" replica will be worth it. That and I'll have the beginnings of the DC-CU Justice League.

What's interesting, is that this reveals that there are actually eight figures on the way, rather than the six that were reported about back durring SDCC. Meaning that there are two more yet to be revealed.

With there already being three versions of Batman on the way, I really hope the remaining two figures are other characters. One of them should definitely be Doomsday, but... I'm not sure who else they would/could do. Maybe Aquaman, since he is being released in the Basic line of figures. Also gets his sculpting out of the way so they can simply reuse it for his solo film's toy line.

These seem intended primarily for the parents-shopping-for-their-kids market, not the collector market. As toys for kids, they seem fairly well done.

Collectors more concerned about display and attention to detail can look forward to the MAFEX offering, for starters. Who else could we expect at the 6"-7" scale? Dare we hope for something on a par with the recent NECA Reeve-as-Superman?

I wouldn't expect anything from NECA considering Mattel is producing similar sized figures.. This isn't like the reeve superman where Mattel isn't currently using that license in that scale.

Not only that, according to NECA, they're only doing Batman in 1/4 scale.

Didn't know where else to put this. It's BvS related and it's on eBay.
