It's a busy design, but then again, so was the source material.

I think the issue is that the Endocop in the comic is bulkier and instead of sculpting entirely new arms for the figure, they've heavily retooled the endoskeleton arms to make them compatible with the RoboCop body. This results in a figure with skinny/ spindly looking arms compared to the rest of the body.

I get it as a cost saving measure, but I wish they sculpted entirely new arms for this especially ones that could still swivel at the bicep as this one doesn't look like it can.

Other than that it does look really interesting. I will reserve my final judgement until the final images of the line come out.

NECA Twitter posted new images of their Robocop and Terminator line. I LOVE these two new figures as much as I disliked the figure that looked like a swiss army knife. THESE ARE GREAT!!!! According to their website they will be packaged together, I will have to get a dozen of these

Yeah! They had a nice long break from Robocop, so it's good to see these. I've never read the comics, but I'm down for all of them as Robocop has always been one of my favorite character designs of all time.

BTW, anyone familiar with the comic care to explain why Robo looks like that, or has a pet Robodoggie? Are Murphy's remaining organic parts finally rotting off or something?

In the comic, Robocop's existence is the basis for Skynet. When he learns of this, he hides his consciousness inside of Skynet. After humanity is nearly wiped out, he hijacks skynet's controls to build himself a new body based on his old look, with some upgrades, to fight back against the Terminator's and Skynet.

Yep I like it, gonna need at least 3. The dog looks kinda strange from the front. Like the torso is too narrow for the legs. But it doesn't bother me enough not to get it

I don't think that's likely. They've been looking for a way to release the Dog Terminator for a few years now. A variant packed with another figure is probably your best bet for a second release on that.
