I think it looks that way because they are doing post 8bit games where graphics were a little better and smoother

Ultimate Chucky is 99% awesome to me. The sculpt on the body, the faces (namely the sculpted hair and facial expressions), the weapons assortment are all fantastic. I'll definitely be buying this.

I do have one critique however. I would have done the heads a little differently. Firstly, the "Curse Of Chucky" head with the stitched face feels out of place to me. I say that because aside from that head, this figure is entirely based on the first trilogy. You can tell because his clothing is undamaged (unlike the tattered look from the later films), his weapons arsenal is chosen exclusively from the first three movies, and three of the four heads are from the originals. This makes the Curse Of Chucky head feel like it was shoe-horned in. They should have put that head in with the next Chucky that I assume will depict his look from Bride Of Chucky onwards.

I wish instead of the Curse of Chucky head, they would have added another undamaged face depicting his iconic shit-eating grin that he always wears. Besides the blank-stare Good Guy head, there's only one face that's undamaged and he's bearing his teeth like he's pissed; which is alright, but it's not really the iconic face I think of when I think of Chucky. I like his expression on the head where his face is half blown off. I wish there were a head where he looked something like that, but undamaged. I've attached a Photoshopped picture for reference.

Thank you so much NECA for this line
I don't know if I can wait for these.

I wonder if Shredder and the clan will be based off of the DD and Deadpool molds?

In the movies I believe Shredder was a bit bigger than the turtles.

Chucky's outfit wasn't tattered in "Curse of Chucky" that's why NECA was able to do this head sculpt on this body. He had his face and outfit fixed up by Tiffany. It wasn't until later in the film his cute face falls off.

You guys have bad taste in turtles. Comparing 8" scale Playmates Toys to NECA turtles, really? Undersized....more like Playmates are ridiculously over sized.

Welp. Guess I'm finally buying a NECA toy.
I am so happy with this Slash figure! One of my favorites (if not my favorite) reveal so far from SDCC.

So you aren't talking about the Playmates classics? My mistake. I didn't realize you were talking about the ones from 30 years ago.

True, but this is so typical of NECA. I don't even know why they ever bothered getting the Godzilla license in the first place as this line is clearly only worked on when they have nothing else to work on.

They can't show anything without Toho approval. They are super strict with what they will and won't allow. They've also proposed multiple figures to them that have been shot down. Some that we know of is Marvel Comics Godzilla, Hanna Barbara Cartoon Godzilla, I believe a Ghost Godzilla was mentioned, an atomic breath 2014 Godzilla was also mentioned as being shot down.

Yeah I know that's true, but still. The figure is still 99% derived from the original trilogy, so I would have liked to have another clean face in there. You have to imagine that Neca will make another Ultimate Chucky at some point featuring his look from Bride and Seed. So we'll have another four heads with his stitched face, along with this Curse head that'll make five. I'd have rather seen another clean face.

Well of course those are going to be shot down. NECA should be focusing on the movies first and foremost, especially the Showa era, not off-brand versions.

Haven't they made around 10 Godzilla figures at this point? Seems like they are doing a pretty good job if you ask me. They're also affordable as opposed to the SH versions that are ridiculously priced.

Toho is like those videogame companies, just what are they doing? Like Konami, shouldn't you want figures representing your games out there. Free marketing and more money in you pockets.

Toho, I have no idea the reason for making life so miserable. Do they not like money? Is it some cultural thing? IDK

I WILL BUY SHREDDER AND THE FOOT. 1/4 Scales are fantastic. I will buy as I was my SUPER SHREDDER!!!!

If you have the the Cartoon Classic Collection (came out 4-5 years ago) you may want to hold a ruler too them. There is no way they are 5"
They're huge! The NECA versions would be taller

If they can make something like that, there's no way a Colonial Marine APC should be out of the question.

pretty cool that NECA added those special edition Nikes in the Laika case ahahahah, considering Travis Knight the man behind Laika Studios is none other than the son of Phil Knight, the man who created Nike

you guys think the resellers and scalpers are bad when it comes to toys, the shoe game is even more brutal.
those Paranorman Foamposites are one of the most expensive(based on initial msrp) shoes to acquire in the secondary market.

This Guillermo del Toro signature series is amazing. It's something I've always wanted but never expected. I hope they can also make Abe Sapien and Hellboy. Possibly Sammael. Most of Mezcos are too expensive and hard to find.
