Bbts and those kinds. Series 1 was target and series 3 was Walmart unless it changed.

It's like NECA wants us to hate them! Hahaha

I have honestly never seen anything like what neca is doing now with a lot of things. Even hasbro still has the millennium falcon on target again and it’s still up for order. The death of toysrus really effected neca.

Kind of lame that the third figure for wave 3 is just a rerelease of the Ultimate Big Chap without the accessories... I was kind of hoping there would be a version of Dallas, Kain or Lambert outside of their spacesuits.

It looks like some of likeness was lost on Bert too... Parker turned out fine I guess, but something seems just slightly off in his face. All in all these are worthy pickups.

Also how cool would it be if NECA announced a version of Ripley in her underwear along with a removable top portion of her spacesuit? I know it’s NEVER going to happen, but I would buy the heck out of that.

I think you'll just have to buy a Phicen figure and make your own for that one.

I'm pissed. After 4 weeks of checking Target there was finally a restocking of the NECA section, but of course not the stuff I'm after. No exclusive Alien 40th wave, no alpha predator, no more ultimate big chap. Instead it was almost entirely restocks/reissues of older ultimate figures. (Which is fine, but where the hell is the new product?)

The only new item they had was the retro cloth style H2 Michael Myers, which unfortunately the two they had looked awful. The paint on the heads were really sloppy, and the coveralls looked a mess.

Now I'm beginning to worry that my nearest Target won't be getting the Alien wave. I only wanted Ripley. If this is how things are going to be at Target, than there's little hope of finding the Walmart wave in the fall.

What's sad is that I'm sure I'll be able to find Brett and Parker at the locally owned store that carries NECA, yet the the big box places have jack shit. Why did the Alien 40th anniversary stuff have to be broken up as exclusives like this?

Okay, good. Then they should be easy for me to find, then. My usual joint will totally have these.

As for series 1, I had zero trouble finding them all at Target, shockingly. And I have a Walmart near me that I've been finding tons of NECA's early exclusives at (Evil Dead 2 Ash, Chucky), so hopefully I won't have to get buttfucked by scalpers on ebay, because I NEED that Ash.

scarrviper i'm in the same boat, i have 7 Targets in my area, and have been checking them, only 1 target had wave 1 put out, all figures were there except Ripley, who is the only one i wanted. they also said they would be available online, but that hasn't happened, unless i completely missed it, even though i check multiple times daily

I'm betting the weapons are for 7" They Live figures, the revolver and shotgun are straight out of the "chew bubblegum" scene, and the 8" Roddy Piper has a pistol, oddly, so I'm cautiously excited!

Well, I sure as hell hope you're right. Seems like a mistake for them to announce that before the retro figures are released though. Guess we'll see soon enough.

Yeah, no offense to them, but I wasn't interested at all in the mego style figure, but I ordered it thinking nothing else would come out. I ordered at BBTS and can cancel if they do turnout, but may hold on to it. We'll see I guess.

How tall is that Rhino Alien? If it is big enough, would love to have it as a "diorama" like battle piece for the 1/12 I own.

So is there any release info on the T2 2-pack? At this point I should just assume it was released and I missed it...

Because I’m in between work for a few minutes I had to look up the HISStank conversation. Dolemite, you are my hero. That sir was an ass whopping. That guy’s attitude is what kills new collectors. Coming from the MOTUC world, we all needed each other. Fans of all factions and eras had to come together and guess what, we got over 300 figures, vehicles and playsets. The 6 inch joe fandom is new and will find its footing. My wife was a tomboy and collected joes in the 80s, she is all over the 6 inch figures. I bought her the exclusive snake eyes and I found the first wave at walmart. She can’t wait for more of these.

Dude your wife sounds like a real keeper, last gal I dated that had any figures left them in her bay window til they got sun bleached But yeah we've gotta be accepting of all iterations of our favorite properties, whether or not they float our boats!

God forbid. The last thing anyone needs right now is more 1/12th-scale toys...

I don't know what is hapenning with Neca, overall with the Alien figures. They have a lot of good licences to make excellent figures, but the latest ones don't give good results.

I mean a few months ago the likeness was very accurate, It, Halloween, the latest ones from Friday 13th, and a long etc. But now is weird. A good example are the first wave of Alien 40th Anniversary. The painters? Changes on the company? I don't know, I'm afraid about Ash and Kane and the future figures from other licences. Something to think about.

Here you have the transformation from first presentations, the typical white background previews and the final result on the package.

When will Walmart list wave 3 of the 40th Anniversary Alien figures?

Neca does seem to be slightly abandoning the 7" line of figures for the mego 8 inch. I am okay with it if it helps expands to more characters....like the Killer Klowns or dare I dream....80's sitcoms and low budget horrors. Heck, Knight Rider...

I am all in with the 8" Megos if NECA keeps improving face sculpts.
