I'm a little excited about the Beetlejuice stuff despite knowing they're recycled 20 year old plastic statues. I wonder what's under that cover. Maybe it's the Inferno Room with some demon strippers. One can dream.
Pee-wee is freaking awesome. I need the film figures though. Large Marge has to happen.

I had to dig to find a photo since it seems none of the websites have taken photos but here's that Dante's Inferno Room diorama. All I gotta say is "Nice fucking model!”

I was pleasantly surprised to see new horror reveals this year.

Now if only neca could focus on actually getting their stuff distributed to retail. I'm tired of never seeing anything new at Target, and I don't know why they bother having space at Walmart because it's always empty.

I'm very happy to see some new Leatherface ultimates. Pretty woman is long overdue, I remember Randy in the past acted like it would never happen. The new killing mask version really shocked me. Usually, once neca has made an ultimate of a character they never want to resculpt it. The original ultimate leatherface was a decent figure, but it did look dated since I think they simply added articulation to the old cult classics sculpt and as a result the proportions were all wrong. I never liked how skinny the forearms were, for example.

Interesting that the apron is now plastic instead of cloth. Also, we finally have green chainsaws! No more yellow. Someone needs to tell them however, that they put the top/side handles on wrong. The black wrapped part should be on top, not the side. They have them backwards.

Also, can't wait to learn more about that Ash and Cheryl Evil dead set.

NECA is like the one section my Targets have actively updated. Of course, I think my Target having NECA stuff in 3 different sections also helps, they have plenty of room.

See, I was wondering if this WAS an Ultimate figure of Leatherface. It didn't look like it has that Ultimate branding. I'm kinda wondering if this is a separate release as a what, a 50'th anniversary two-pack instead?

Agreed on the Evil Dead set too. THAT caught my ele for sure. I SO want to add Cheryl to my collection. It'll also be nice to add a bloodied Ash from the first film too. I was so close to buying one to do it myself but kept hoping they'd do it for me. Guess it pays to wait. Hope they release an ED1 Necronomicon and dagger someday...also a new Army of Darkness line. 9_9 Hope springs eternal.

The fact that each Leatherface has his own card suggests that they'll be separate figures, for contrast the AWiL Jack and David have a single card identifying them as a 2-pack as does the Iron Maiden Eddies pack. I do think you are onto something though with noting that neither Leatherface is marked as being an ultimate release, maybe NECA is finally easing back into their previous "not absolutely everything has to be an ultimate figure" ways.

Same here... not even a cardboard concept sketch... and that's even with a Neca developer telling Veeb (last February) that a sixth D&D figure (likely with some form of reuse with the first five) was planned (but designer wasn't permitted to identify it).

A friend who plays D&D says the actual D&D players don't care about the old cartoon, the old LJN toys, or action figures, even (they prefer game-able miniature D&D).

Some good news, maybe, in Pixel Dans last NECA interview he asked about D&D and was told that the licensor (Hasbro-WotC) wanted to focus on the 50th anniversary, and that now that is ending he would "love to go back to Ultimates". So fingers crossed that's actually happening.

Miniatures certainly have the advantage of actually being used in the game, but I'm sure plenty of D&D fans like action figures as well. I certainly do.

Did he ask about Gargoyles?
