This is turning out to be a really weak year in terms of SDCC exclusives. Nearly every company's offerings that have been announced have been pretty lackluster...including NECA's.

I'd rather all of the really good stuff be not exclusive so it's easier for everyone to get, but so far nobody has any particularly enticing exclusives this year. The ambush predator looks cool (especially mask-less) but its mask could've been done closer to the original instead of a repaint and then the terminator is just a fun gimmick repaint but still a repaint.

Yeah that one was always one of my favorite Terminators from the Kenner days.

Has Hasbro announced their Marvel exclusives?

So THIS is where my part II w/ bow ended up. I will have to try to get one since it is just not Rambo part II without his bow.

So what is the new BOW ATTACK Rambo??? is that supposed to be from part 3?? Or when he was in the jungle in the early part of part II??

Damn, that Rambo looks sick...but in the back of the box shows th bow attack.

I really want an 18 inch Rambo to compliment my Dutch and a Rocky Quarter also.

The Bow Attack Rambo is a potential future release according to Randy at NECA. He didn't go into much detail.

The Bow Attack Rambo will utilize the same head/face as the SDCC exclusive. While I like how the packaging pays tribute to the original Coleco figures, it's hard to justify paying large sums. The SDCC Rambo utilizes the same body as the First Blood Part 2 Rambo which was released in Fall 2014.

I may decide to wait until the Bow Attack Rambo is released. I like having the outfit variety and his tank top/muscle shirt is a nice touch.

Great. They're making their SDCC exclusives almost impossible for non-attendees to get.

I've been able to nab their exclusives the last two years off of the NECA Club website that they posted in the press release with nearly no problems. I just checked it now, and you can tell they are in the process of working on it, as they have added an SDCC 2015 section (although there is nothing inside at the moment.)

As for the releases in the random Hastings and TRU across the country, there are no Hasting's stores near where I live, and the TRUs here are flat out terrible since they are small and share space with Babies R' Us. Releasing to random stores is not fun or exciting NECA...it's fricken stressful. Do not kid yourselves.

As long as I can get my head on the Jason/Pamela two pack, and Ambush Predator...I will be a happy man. Thankfully Jason/Pamela is releasing in MEGO form, a general search online will show that not many fans were happy about that, so hopefully this will translate to the two pack not selling out the second it goes up.

That said...the price jump to 30 dollars for Ambush Predator came as a shock to me. With Predator being one of the primary lines that I collect, another price jump like that and NECA will end up pricing me out of collecting them altogether. Ahab and Albino were priced around 25 bucks if I remember correctly...putting Ambush at 30 seems unnecessary, especially when there are nearly no paint apps on the figure and uses an already existing mold. Not only does the price bump seem unnecessary, but it's gonna feed the already insane secondary market for these things.

I find these exclusives overprice. I very interested in planet of the apes, but after shipping this might be 90 dollars.

I'm not sure about the Apes being that I don't collect them, but the Terminator and Pacific Rim stuff definitely is a bit hefty in price. The Rambo seems reasonable considering the accessories and packaging, while the Predator price jump was just stupid.

Bout the only thing reasonably priced is the Pamela/Jason Voorhees set, as that's two figures for 50 dollars, where the MEGO styled figures already retail at about 25 to 30 a piece...depending where you go. You could argue the Jason figure makes it a rip off since he's not full sized...but he comes with accessories and is fully clothed as well...making it a good deal for me.

They can have my 50$, maybe even 100$ if I'm feeling frisky. Just glad we're getting planet of the apes. A few more bucks a figure, as an exclusive, is fine by me. Lego however....

Was gonna buy endoglow, but NECA wants 16 dollars to ship it to me. And that's on top of an inflated SDCC price.

Utterly idiotic.

I believe only 130 total stores will have them. Exact ones not being announced.
