That's a very rare example of a Marvel Select version of a figure looking better than it's Marvel Legends counterpart. Doesn't happen often.

Took the words out of my mouth. I think the endgame Thanos may be worthy of that title as well.

So I just picked this figure up.
Let's just start with the bad. The joints are loose at spots where they shouldn't be. My upper arm rotation is a little loose compared to the rest of the body. One arm pegs wasn't in all the way so I had to fix it with heat. It's solid now. Paint jobs ranged a little so that was annoying. YMMV with these.

Beyond that I would easily pick this over the Marvel legends version.
Hasbro just refuses to update the Spider-man body which is a real shame.
The rotating upper torso allows for far more dynamic poses. Also his arms and legs are on the longer and slender side so it really sells Spider-mans body type from the comics. The texture is more apparent as well.

It's the SUPERIOR Spider-man figure.

I don't own the Legends FFH counterpart, I can only compare to the other Spider-men.
To the standard Spider-man bodies it's already a full head taller. Based on comparison videos, the FFH body is half a head shorter then the standard. So I'd say a head and half if you have the other Spider-man figures in the Marvel Legends line.

So maybe 30 to 40 mm taller?

I'm probably missing some but figure for figure comparisons, I'd say Selects are generally the better looking figures, they just don't make enough, have inconsistent articulation/scaling and need to adopt face scanning technology.

When Hasbro started getting the hang of applying the face printing is I'd say when Select ran into trouble since their likenesses were never the greatest and now they're having to compete with digitally achieved photo-realism. Of course it's almost always a matter of taste and opinions will vary.
