More than just the knees and hands, according to NECA. Sounds good. I wonder if they will be at all quadrupedal. One of the cons of the current model is than they can really only stand or squat, you can't get them approach a crawl.

With the Aliens Series 12 reveal, I guess we know why the Ultimates aren't coming with battle damaged interchangeable parts. Oh, well...not a huge deal.

Can someone tell me what's the difference between the blue and the brown one, besides you know...the colors? lol. They seem to have the same accessories no? Are they different in the movies as well? I guess I just don't remember much variation between the Alien creature itself.

Just the colour. In the movie they are both shown as brown and blue, depending on the lighting, so NECA made both. I believe the original suit was brown, but it appears as blue more often in the movie.

Cool, I feel that as ultimate figures these seem kinda lacking as far as accessories go but i cant seem to think of anything else to give them. maybe an alternate exploding head from when hicks shot it.

These were announced so long ago I had forgotten about them. Hopefully with the Target and Gamestop deals in-place, NECA will finally get back on their release schedule after all the delays.

I had forgotten these were even announced or existed...

Kinda like half of their upcoming Predator figures...

Annoying how they can get Fugitive Predator out in a matter of months, along with a bunch of slightly improved double dips like Ahab and the Bad Blood Predators, but they still haven't put out those AVP Arcade figures, Wolf, Cracked Tusk, and Machiko...and most of those were simple repaints and were announced over a year ago.

The creature accessories are pretty boring. I got the cryo chambers with the facehuggers and chest bursters, and already have a couple of eggs, so I don’t see much on offer here that makes me want to buy it.

The Burke Xeno is probably the best NECA Alien on the market anyway. Best of both worlds with the canopy and more detailed articulation.

I’m not sure what else they could offer. Maybe a melted floor panel, or a cocooned victim?

It's almost as if there isn't enough to come with this kind of figure to justify an "Ultimate" release or "Ultimate" price point..

I've had the idea for a while that NECA should strongly consider adding in optional swappable blast effects/ battle damage that friction attach to the grooves on the ribs or the head so you can customize exactly where you want the battle damage to go for extra variation instead of having a really articulated alien figure with sculpted battle damage blast effects permanently in place.

This set also should have at least come with a closed alien egg.
