I've been waiting for this one. Let's hope she opens the door to Wonder Woman next.

I often look at Mezco's One:12 line and think, "Damn, that's a nice looking figure, I want that…if only it were cheaper." This one, however, looks like a Mattel figure. And, I mean that in every negative possible way.

The stylized Injustice version by Figuarts is still my favorite overall, but this looks very nice also.

Individually-sculpted-and-painted teeth generally don't turn out well. The open-mouthed portrait here seems like a case in point.

Addendum: This really looks promising. If up-close reviews turn out well, I can't wait to see what Mezco does with Wonder Woman.

" captures every aspect of Margot Robbi’s celebrated portrayal "

Yeah. Everything except the face. Granted headsculpts of real people are always difficult, there are ones that come close, this one is no where near!

Yeah, you're right. There really is no resemblance. I'm surprised that they make such a claim, given the generic nature of the face sculpt. Mezco seems weak in that regard generally.

I think the idea was to situate the cut in her midriff so it would be at least partially concealed by the edge of her t-shirt. You're right: it's not as bad as some ab crunches, but it ain't good.

Given that this is the digital sculpt, I don't know if it's the sculpt that's the problem; just that it seems the faces of Mezco's promotional images are too translucent, and combined with... interesting lighting (and perhaps not enough paint, at least for the lighting) it makes the sculpt look worse than it is.

Also, I just noticed this: it seems that the ponytails on the bubblegum headsculpt seem to appear... wetter? than those of the open- or closed-mouthed headsculpts. Those headsculpts' ponytails more resemble that seen on the picture of the digital sculpt I showed.

Interesting observations. So the figure 'in hand' may resemble the actress much more closely. That would be bonus. I still think the figure looks pretty good regardless, hence my hope for a nice version of WW.

I suppose if Harley sells well, we'll probably see Enchantress, Power Girl, Supergirl, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Donna Troy, Wonder Woman…….
