I'd like to display my figures right up to the edge of my shelves so you can really see them. Most stands are set so the figure will need to e about 1/2 to 1 inch back.

(And many figures don't come with stands...and having a tough time finding ones that match the peg holes, etc anyway).

Does anyone have any display ideas where you can get your figures closer to the edge?

My figures come about an inch from the edge of the shelf or right up to it, depending how much cramming I have to do to get them all on. 90% or more of my collection isn't on stands at all. You can see some of it here.

I once created stands for my DCIH using toothpicks and PowerAde caps. The toothpicks fit the DCIH figure holes perfectly but are a bit loose in marvel figures. I also built stairstep sections that overhang my shelves just a little bit out of foam core board. It would be possible to insert the toothpicks in the foamcore and snip it off at maximum depth for the foot holes, and you could display out to the edge with less risk of a bump causing a disaster. You can even use colored board for different groups/teams.

Can you adopt me?

I'm not joking.

From those photos...I noticed one figure is out of place. Pay me $100 and I'll tell you which one it is.

Ha! I've redone some of the shelves since the photos were taken. I'm sure there are several out of place.

I'd say double sided tape, poster putty or if you're doing a Marvel Legends display then small magnets into the feet and then use large washers to stand them.
