I am hoping we are getting 6" figures, as Hasbro said we will get movie related ones next year, but didn't say specifically which ones.

Not bad for "deluxe" figures...look better than the Iron Man "Armor Tech" figures, that's for sure.

However that REALLY should have been "Riot Gear USAgent." I wonder if the gear will be swappable onto the USAgent fig? Though that shield is -definitely- getting handed off to him.

Also, if just to cut down on the number of Cap figs, and what with the big honkin' guns and all, "Jetpack Winter Soldier" would have been a nice alternative, or even "Jetpack Captain America (Modern/Bucky)."

I guess another aspect of what I'm trying to say is I think some aspects of these designs are kind of getting away from what Cap is all about...but I guess that's inevitable, and at least the Riot Gear version looks to be based off of the Ultimate Cap mold instead of "classic Cap."

I'd be really surprised if we didn't at least get 6" movie versions of Thor, Loki, Cap, and the Red Skull. Possibly even multiple versions of Cap and a 6" Odin as well (and maybe a re-release/retooling of the Destroyer).

I'm thinking we might see 6" Cap and Thor figures similar to what's been done with IM2. Small groups of key characters/events, store exclusives.

So my guess would be we get Cap, Bucky, Red Skull and Arnim Zola for CA:TFA, while the Thor series would probably be Thor, Odin, Loki and Destroyer.

I don't see why the gear wouldn't be interchangeable. Also, the regular Winter Soldier figure already comes with an opening jetpack, so that's why he's not in the deluxe wave.

Better yet, I would prefer a SHIELD agent in lieu or Cap in one of the deluxe sets.

I hope so, but honestly, I hope for a 6" Comic Captain America series to accompany any movie figures next year. 6" ML style New Cap...FTW

I would expect we'll see comic versions of the characters like we've seen with the previous Marvel Movie toy lines.

ITCHING for a ML style New Cap. New Cap rules. I figure it's inevitable we'll get one, one way or another, but I hope Hasbro does not wait until 2012!

These things are so cheesy. I was thinking about how cynical I've been about most toy offerings lately, but really these are corny as all hell. At least with Cap he already has a costume that is corny by nature so these aren't as bad as the Thor.

I'd be very happy with a New Cap in either scale for the movie, but I don't know if he warrant a spot in a 6" movie line. All of the 6" IM2 toys have been based on memorable moments in the film (or iconic images), and since the movie is a period-piece, the New Cap costume's appearance in the movie is highly doubtful.

I think there's a much greater chance that he'll be in the 3.75", if we get him at all. Again, based on what was done with IM2, I'd say it's very likely down the road.

And in Cap's case, they're at least somewhere in the realm of practicality. I shudder to think of the crazy contraptions for Thor.

I mean, what is a BFG compared to the Fury of the Storm?

Dude he is in the 3.75" line:

http://www.toyark.com/news/marvel-to...-figures-3362/

He's between Cap and Ultimate Cap.

All I want is a good Helmut Zemo figure and I'll be happy. If he's unattainable by normal means I will be a sad panda.

Assuming this line goes beyond the first couple of assortments I'd be VERY surprised if we didn't get a Helmut Zemo figure in the comic series.

I completely missed that. Well, I was right that we'd get him in the 3.75" line.

As for a 6" version, I still think it's iffy at best. Of course, that doesn't mean I don't want one anyway.
