Spotted Mario last night. The card was really beat, so passed on it. I've seen Yoshi, but he's no one I plan on buying unless I happen to see all three at the same time.

the packaging is really flimsy. the plastic comes unglued and the peg holders rip. yoshi looks pretty meh. they needed to make him ridable to be worth it.

Link and Ganon are scheduled for the 2nd wave of 2.5" in January. Others in wave 2 seem to be repeats.

Hi, I just signed up after browsing for a little today. I am collecting these world of nintendo figures in Australia. They have only just been released this past week and I have all of them except for Wario......but today I found him!

At my local EB Games (Gamestop) I was browsing and very much to my surprise I saw the glorious large scale Wario figure. I was shocked as from what I have read here, he has not been released yet. I had to sign up to show you that he is out there, hopefully in the US as well.

Here is proof, picture of Wario still sealed and one with receipt dated today in Australia ( 27/09/1991):

OK so I found another Wario at another EB Games today and decided to also pick him up. So I now have one sealed and one open.

Here are some pics of Wario, he comes with a coin accessory as his secret item. His articulation is not great but as he is a larger, awkward shaped figure it is to be expected. He looks great close up and is such an awesome addition to my collection.

Anyone else found Wario in the wild?

Finally saw these at Target last weekend but couldn't pick up Link at the time. I went back and of course he was gone. Still plenty of Marios, Warios, and Yoshis though.

Those things look awful, but I want the Metroids that was just revealed to go with my Samus Figma. Does anyone know what their size will be?

I was kind of disappointed by the Samus when I saw it. A step down compared to the Mario and Link.

the metroid also looks weird, like they were going for realistic. which doesn't fit with the rest of the toys.

How does Samus scale to other 3.75''- 4'' figures?
I may end up picking her up.

Actually, it looks like one of the Metroids from the artwork in the instruction manual.

Wario is a major peg warmer in my area. Yoshi and Donkey Kong come in second. I was able to find a Mario at a Target and got him today. I saw Bowser at a TRU and passed for now, although I might regret it later.

They are all peg warmers in my stores, but Yoshi is the one I see the most.

My wife needed to go to our local Target for some things, and invited me to come along. I almost didnt go, but I'm sure glad I did! Found Samus at a Target that I have already checked 3 times.
$7.99 well spent! She is freakin sweet!

Why is she so small compared to the other guys? Mario and Yoshi are like 5 inches tall. She should be taller tahn them.
