How available is Bowser in North America at the moment? He seems to be going for some crazy prices on eBay. Is he widely available? Has he ever been widely available?

I have seen him only a handful of times, right when they released. Now Donkey Kong is very abundant and Bowser is no where to be found. I went to 4 different TRU's befire I finally broke down and ordered him online.

I have more recently seem a couple of them at a TRU Express, at an outlet mall, but they were charging $17.59 which was a wierd price considering it is $14.99 in their regular stores.

Thanks for the quick reply, not sure whether I should wait a bit longer or get on eBay!

I've been searching for the big metroid forever now, but I haven't seen anything other than some jackass trying to sell it for 125 bucks on ebay.

Well, there are 4 on eBay, all from Canada, but only one is at $125. The other three are much less, but still more than double retail.

That said, the reason no one can find it yet is just that it hasn't shown up at retail in the states yet. Why not just pre-order online? EE has them slated for this month:

Super Mario 6-Inch Wave 2 Action Figure Set - Jakks Pacific - Nintendo - Action Figures at Entertainment Earth

Went to TRU but only saw DK and Bowser. Would love a Metroid. I did find, however, another Samus for a friend at Target.

The only sign I've gotten regarding the newer wave is some shelfwarming Blue Toadstool.

I still have yet to see a Metroid anywhere. In fact, no store but TRU even sells the big ones and they have 22 DKs sitting on the shelves.

I have yet to see any of the Samus or Metroid wave yet.

I have seen and picked up the 2.5" Windwaker Link and Gannondorf well over a month ago though.

Everytime this thread gets a post I feverishly look in hopes that someone has found the new 6" Metroid and Ganondorf.

The new wave of 2.5" is pretty cool though. I'm digging Cranky's specs.

totally get you on that. I wish I would stumble across it in the wild as well. I dont haunt my local TRU enough (because it sucks), but I probably should start. I had no idea about Cranky, so once I found out I just had to have him.

It's funny how online retailers are asking $35 for a $16 fig. I too would like to find both the Metroid and Ganondorf. Sadly I may never see them since I don't think Target carries the big versions since I have never seen any and Toys R' Us still has loads of Donkey Kong..

I posted this a few pages back, but Entertainment Earth has a set of both up for $35:

Super Mario 6-Inch Wave 2 Action Figure Set - Jakks Pacific - Nintendo - Action Figures at Entertainment Earth

They don't charge tax and do free shipping at $70ish.

I was lucky enough to find Samus last weekend, but I've never seen Ganondorf or the Metroid in the wild. If I could only get one of those two, I'd prefer the Metroid. I'd like to get an actual Ganon figure for my Link, rather than Ganondorf.

I managed to snag a Metroid from Toywiz.com! It is HUGE! I wasn't expecting it to be the size it is. It's really cool looking, though if you have pets, probably best to keep them far away since the transparent dome part is sort of a flexible rubbery plastic and I could easily see a dog tearing it to shreds.

All the stores in my area still have Wario pegwarming. Although I have seen a few blue Toads hanging around TRU and Targets as well. TRU stores still have plenty of Donkey Kongs too.
