do the super mans (supermen?) have different head sculpts? one looks more serious and the other ones smiling?

Why use clear plastic, which has a habbit of being brittle, for figure joints? As anyone who has bought one of your larger figures and have a limb literally fall off can tell you, it's not nice paying so much for a figure that breaks so easily.
