So I understand it’s hard to get permission to use batgirls actress’s likeness but can they at least tell us if they are trying to get it done?

And I’m probably the only one but I would love to see black widow in figure form.

New vehicle is the Batcycle I think, based on rumors from awhile back. Curious what the new playset is though.

I'm hoping some of the new figures are actually NEW and not just variants of Batman, Robin, or the existing villains. I really want them to go deeper with this line and do villains that Mattel never did in their similar line.... characters like Mr. Freeze and Egghead would really be nice.

I'm amazed this line is still going because they seem to be clogging peg after peg in two different sections at Targets.

I've seen them on clearance at my local Targets as well.

I am a HUGE Batman '66 fanboy but this line is hit or miss for me. So much potential. Really lost me when the Penguin didn't come with his umbrella.

This line is extremely frustrating, and has the potential for greatness.

At first you couldn't find it, now a few waves in, pegs are clogged everywhere. A mandate from DC/Warner that every wave include some sort of Batman figure means that this time we get....a "black-and-white" variant, from a show that was broadcast in color from the beginning.

You'd thin when even the back of the package shows Julie Newmar without a mask they'd try for once to give us an unmasked version.

WTF... why doesn't Mr. Freeze come with his freeze gun?! This is an even bigger oversight than not offering an umbrella for Penguin! Freeze is even pictured holding it on the back of the packaging!

The Villains Lair is cool, but I bet its as underscaled as the Batcave was. The promo photos might be as deceptive as the Batcave ones were. These playsets seem to work better with 4-5" scale figures like Kenner's old Super Powers line. The Batmobile was also underscaled compared to the Mattel version, so I dread seeing how underscaled the Batcycle will be when trying to put Batman and Robin in it too. They conveniently aren't showing any photos of it with figures on it.

I really hope they eventually do Batgirl and her cycle too.

It’s sad that Funko gave their 3.75 Catwoman a gun but mcfarlane won’t even give one to mr freeze

Funko's Mr. Freeze also came with his freeze gun. It's a very 1950s pulp scifi style ray gun rifle, never to be mistaken for a real world weapon, so it's ridiculous that McFarlane isn't allowed to make it.

All that aside, what's the excuse for not giving Penguin his umbrella??

I thought it's not a McFarlane thing, it's a directive from WB/DC? So how come Funko can get away with it?

Well that Funko figure came out a few years ago, probably before WB/DC's stupid no-gun mandate.

If he keeps selling these, then they must sell well. This means this 6” inch scale is the way to go. He needs to add more extreme articulation on the 6” inch figures and move on from the 7” inch nonsense. McFarlane would get SH Figuarts, Mezco, and Mafex (and maybe Hasbro) a run for their money if McFarlane just gets way more of his figures in 6” scale and make them more articulated.

I can't remember where I read it, so I might need someone else to weigh in. I recall that Yvonne Craig's likeness rights are unavailable, so we shouldn't expect Batgirl. There was a deal a decade ago but something happened more recently. I apologize I don't have sources, but it's worth looking into.

That's a lot of projecting there based on your own preferences and biases lol

And yet Mattel did a Batgirl figure less than a decade ago. I wasn't a fan of it because of how they did her cape, so I'm hoping McF can do a better one, and offer her batcycle too.

I preordered it all. Man, the black and white versions got me good in the feels. When I was really young, we only had a B & W TV, so that's how I was introduced to the show. Years later, when I saw it in colour, my brain melted.

Found Julie Newmar Catwoman today at Target. Had a gut feeling and checked her at one of the price scanners and saw she was street dated...preorder only.

Good thing there were plenty of Eartha Kitt Catwoman figs to use in her place at self checkout...

Maybe it’s that most versions of his umbrella are a hidden gun, or they think those weird arm attachments are good enough.
