Who wants Vietnam Air War jets in 1/18 scale? I WANT A LOT OF THEM! Well more specifically:
  • F-8 Crusader
  • A-4 Skyhawk
  • F-105 Thunderchief
  • A-6 Intruder
  • A-7 Corsair II
  • F-4 Phantom II
The Vietnam Air War jets kicked ass, they look awesome and performed admirably in the war. As much as people want the Phantom, I want an F-8 just as bad. When your out of F-8's you're out of fighters!!!!!!

The A-6 Intruder is an all weather fighter/bomber. Not fancy or supersonic but it gets the job done.

The F-4 would be nice. If I got it, I would have to paint him in Aerialbot colors, though.

It is all awesome. I personally thought it was ugly and hated it until I got into middle school. Then I learned to appreciate it, very cool bomber.

Hell yeah man. Same with the playboy bunny VX-4, VF-111 Sundowners, and of course(despite the stuff Duke got himself into), Showtime 100, the CAG VF-96 bird that was flown by Duke Cunningham when he became an ace.

A F-4E USAF version with sharkmouth is a must too.

I agree, its a real bummer 20th Century Toys never realeased the 1/18th scale F-4 Phantom they prototyped.

They didn't really prototype it. The prototype shown in the ads at Toy Fair 2007 was said to be 1/32 scale(21st was going to make 1/18 and 32x F-4's), and the painted model shown in their ads was a paint master in 1/48 scale IIRC.

If JSI makes an F-4 I have no doubt in my mind that it will be better than what 21st was going to come up with

My grandfather served in WW2 on an aircraft carrier, he also worked at the Air Force base here in MA.

He took me to lots of airshows and took lots of pictures of me in those vintage planes, the F-4 Phantom is one of my all time faves

The F-4 is a beast man, with so much potential for repaints and variants.

I don't think they do, if they make an F-4 it will most likely be an entirely new mold all by JSI. I don't even know if 21st had prototypes for the MIG-21, F-4 or B-24.

The only prototype by 21st for an F-4 was reportedly 1/32 scale, this was the one shown in the promotional ads given out at Toy Fair 2007.

Man...a $90 F-4....at Walmart...

Makes me wonder, if 21st had done better under Walmart/TRU, if we could have seen a 1/18 Tomcat for under $150...
