so do the numbers mean a different figure for each code, or are the list of codes all ones that will give that figure? I saw them last week at walmart think they were $2.50-3.00 range and if I knew definatively which was iron man I'd buy it.

All codes listed by a particular character's name will match the code stamped on the package that contains that figure. Each time MegaBloks does a revision case/wave, they change the numbers, which is why some of them have multiple codes. The code is white-embossed into the packaging, so you'll want to angle it to the light to read it.

Other than the codes, there is no other way to tell the revisions/cases apart. Also, if you find some with codes not on this list already, please post the new info here. Include which character goes with which new code, if possible. That way I can update the list for our fellow collectors.

So if you want the basic Iron Man figure (I believe he's the Mark VI version), you would want to look at the five codes next to him and see if you can find a match in a Series One box. Considering he's a common, it shouldn't take very long to find him.

IIRC, the Ultra-Rares are one or two per box. So if you don't catch it early, you probably won't get one at all. Especially in the case of Wolverine, given his popularity.

GG and SS are arguably less popular than Logan is, so it makes sense. Ironically, both of them are really easy to find just by feeling the packaging. Goblin's Glider and Surfer's Board are unique accessory pieces that no other figure comes with (so far, anyway).

yeah, I heard Wolvie was one per box and found about 3 SS over 3 boxes or so. The S2 box was nearly full so I wonder if someone like me actually went through each package and picked out just that one or the box was just opening and some lucky SOB grabbed a random one that was Wolvie

so in terms of value what's the difference between an average, rare or ultra rare? and if you know which is which by the numbers then keeping the ultra rare mint in bag would be stupid smart! haha. just saying.

Thank you! This will come in handy. I bought a handful of series 2 yesterday and got 3 Whiplash, one red and silver IM, Red Skull and Loki. I already have Green Goblin and I'm pretty sure I'm assed out of Wolverine. I can't let Silver Surfer evade me.

That's pretty much why I created this thread. I also ended up with several duplicates before I was told about the codes and where to find them online.

Also, this will give our fellow Arkers the opportunity to update the list of codes each time MegaBloks does a new case revision.

Another good tip is to pull all of them out and sort them by number. Each series has a set number of characters, so as long as you have that number of bags with unique numbers on them you'll have the whole wave without even dealing with the codes.

That's how I was able to logically figure out the revision 5 codes for Series 1 without buying a bunch of them first. It also allowed me to finally pick up a Black Spidey to finish my Series 1 set.

@wolverine2281 Still hunting for a Wolverine myself, so I'm right there with you, dude.

True. If you're able to time it right, you could have an entire MIP set for pretty cheap. Maybe even a loose set to go with it. Unfortunately, BD Iron Man and Armored Spider-Man will prove somewhat difficult to find MIP, since they weren't carried forward after the line debuted in Europe and only saw 2 case revisions each.

Might also mention on the list when some of those get discontinued, like battle damage IM and armored Spidey. Anyway, thanks for posting. Always nice to have all the information in one post.

Hope to see some series 3 in the Northern VA area soon

I've been able to find Wolvie and Silver Surfer in the wild, it just took time. If you see a fresh case, sort through it!

Just came back from Walmart in Sterling, VA. Got a full set of series 3 Unfortunately none of the codes in the OP matched what I saw. All I could do to avoid duplicates is to simply make sure I only buy 1 of each number. Here are my numbers:

B10101MM - Spiderman
B03101MM - Havok
A04101MM - Sandman
A05101MM - Iceman
A06101MM - Magneto
A07101MM - Mr. Fantastic
A08101MM - Cyclops
A11101MM - Silver Surfer

Thanks, I will add them to the list! And I've found that's the best way to get the entire wave in one go without knowing the codes. It's also partly how I was able to get the breakdown for Series 1's revision 5 codes (process of elimination, mostly).

I have an extra Green Goblin. Anyone willing to trade me either a Wolverine, Captain America, or Silver Surfer for him?

Just a quick update on the latest revision numbering for Series 2:

A01091MM - Red Skull
A02091MM - Wolverine
A03091MM - Loki
A05091MM - Thor
A06091MM - Whiplash
A07091MM - Ground Assault Drone
A08091MM - Iron Man Mark V
A09091MM - Captain America

I have personally confirmed all numbers (and was able to get a full set of Series 2 while I was at it). Now all I need to find is Series 3 and I'll be all caught up.

I think I could easily find Series 3, my concern at this point is replacing Red Skull. It's not a huge concern, but I could use another one because the one I used to have went to a good friend.

Pretty sure that Lego's acquisition of the Marvel building block license has effectively cancelled the Marvel MegaBloks line. I haven't seen wave 3 or even restocking of waves 1 & 2 in my area since February.

Yeah, I've seen wave 1 again after I posted that. But it's been sporadic, at best. Only one WM in my area has them now.

It kind of makes sense, since they got the ASM license even though Lego has the main Marvel license and they did Avengers.

Honestly, didn't even look when I saw them. I'm sure they're posted online somewhere. If I find them, I'll re-post it here.
