Pass, The bottom half is just a repaint of the concept Stealth Iron Man from Iron Man 1.

Well, at least it's not a straight-up repaint of an existing armor like they tried to do for IM1.

I, for one, will be picking this one up as soon as I can find it.

I'm a sucker for all things War Machine. If he's still around by the time I get to the US I'll seriously consider getting him.

True, though I still find it somewhat off. I mean I'm buying it, I like it, but the new parts, while they resemble Casselli's design for Initiative War Machine, still look a bit different.

I hope that:
  • This line continues
  • TRU reduces their price because good god the online etailers and HTS are far cheaper
  • With the aforementioned part about TRU..they are the only B&M retailer carrying these so far
  • I'd love to see more new sculpt 6" Iron Man figures
The new War Machine is a rather extensive retooling of Stealth Strike Iron Man, which IMHO, is a GREAT base to build off of being that it was the best 6" Iron Man figure from the 1st line IMHO.

while it looks nice, the increase in price and lack of swappable hands has made me decide to skip these completely.

Too expensive, and about 2 1/4" too tall.

It's not that expensive.... less then $20 with taxes for a brand new sculpt of an Iron man figure War Machine to be in fact. Which for the most part they release 1 War Machine for every 30 Iron man armous, it's not a repaint or retooling of an existing sculpt, fresh Idea, Manga looking, I like it! I was very pleased with the Titanium man, I passed on the hulk buster for now. and Will pick up Crimson Dynamo next wave around.
