Sometimes the offscreen figures are better than the onscreen "official" figures. Revenge of the Fallen toys are a prime example of this, as is Iron Man 2.

Because almost all military vehicles get at least one camo paint scheme for each theatre of war they're used in? Personally, I expect one deco each for desert, jungle, urban, artic and stealth/night ops.

Well, that and Hasbro loves redecos. Also, sales from this will help pay for new molds later on.

One can never get enough War Machine.

You're the one who made a blanket statement without anything to back it up. So you think they're fake? Fine. Explain to us why you think that. Give us a reason why you've come to that conclusion.

Just don't say "these are probably fake" and expect everyone to automatically agree with you.

Rise of Cobra is a great example of this too. The later waves with more creative "offscreen" takes on the characters were pretty impressive.

Of course I said "pretty sure" and not "definitely" so feel free to get off your overly defensive high horse.
Of course I'm not being overly defensive. You state that you are pretty sure these are fake. Where is your proof? The seller has posted items before that turned out to be legit. That Nick Fury he has? The Hall of Armor figures he had in box before they got to Target? Those weren't fake at all.

I completely agree. The movie figures were nothing special but once they mixed in classic joes with RoC style they had something going. That's why the Pursuit of Cobra toys look incredible.

I'm pretty sure these aren't fake.

Odds are, these are for the concept armor waves. We've seen most of the movie waves and comic waves, but not many new concept armors, and hasbro never said any of the 3 would end for awhile.

The monger hulkbuster, looks like their rendition for a Concept armor hulkbuster. Which considering all the other concepts they've done, and having done hulkbuster monger in the first movie, this seems likely. Especially after how fast the hulkbuster comic armor sells out.

I was assuming that you labeling those War Machine and Hulkbuster figures as Movie Series was information given to you by him or on his Ebay pages, which is why I assumed they were fake seeing as those are not in either Iron Man movie. Most likely they are Concept Series figures.

Very disappointed with the Hulkbuster suit. All they did was re-paint the Iron Monger mold. Otherwise the other two are great!

Don't mind it. Repaints are cool with me as long as they're well done.

The Hulk Buster here may be a concept but it's definately not the Comic one. Just compared the picks and nowhere close to similar.

Concept Series figures are part of the Movie Series and by looking at the molds they are clearly not from the comic series. They are in the movie art books too. Hypervelocity was originally called the Stealth armor in Iron Man 1 but a figure was not released until the Iron Man 2 line debuted.

It is obvious that War Machine is from the movie line, it's a repaint of movie series War Machine.

Even these guys list the concept figures as movie figures:

Iron Man 2 Movie Action Figures Wave 4 Revision 2 - HASBRO - Iron Man - Action Figures at Entertainment Earth

They pack in the concept figures with the movie figures, yes. So? That doesn't somehow make them movie figures themselves. The packages are clearly labeled. There are three types of figures: comic, movie, and concept. That's a simple fact.

Your example only works against you, by the way. You're saying that because War Machine is a repaint of the movie series War Machine, that means it is "obviously" from the movie line.

Semantics. That War Machine obviously isn't from the comic line.
