New Iron Man Movie Series Toys Revealed

#17 is Iron Man (Inferno Mission Armor), part of the Concept Series. That's all I know other than what you said.

Hasbro showed these off at Toy Fair in their panel, listing them as Wave 2:

#27 - Iron Man (Hulkbuster)
#28 - Iron Man (classic red & gold like #26 but with winged mask)
#29 - Guardsman
#31 - Titanium Man
And an "alternate armor" red & gold Iron Man, which I'm assuming is #30.

Now looking at the backs of all the figures I have, you know the section that shows you 3 other available figures to buy? Well I'm noticing that #1-13 only advertise #1-13. Where as #22-26 only advertise #22-26. There's no crossover. And not a single one shows off anything #14-21.

That makes it sound like 2 different waves but Hasbro listed other figures as part of the "spring 2010 Wave 2". So for now I'm just going to call all of the ones out now Wave 1 and we'll see what comes next.

Has anyone picked up anything from 14 to 21?

do you think the missing numbers might be the hammer armors that were shown in Diamond selects MiniMates?? or maybe their the unmasked figures??

I just wanna know if were gonna get those hammer mechs they'll make great army builders I know Ill get to of each.

oh and I got a feeling that whiplash will be getting his own suit after seeing him working on the drones and meeting with Hammer like in the concept art link i have.

That's the new comic book whiplash.

Though I do hope whiplash gets a costume in film, it's looking more and more like he'll be anamalgamation of Crimson Dynamo and Whiplash.

wait, i'm lost a bit, i thought the comic whiplash (mark scarlotti) was dead or something but then again i may be wrong. last time he was seen was in 2000. but it would be cool to see him getting a new suit that isn't just leather.:P

and yeah! would definitely want to see the hammer drones in the 3 3/4 line! hell a 6-pack with the Mk.IV and War Machine would rule!

That new comic Whiplash is from a mini-series that just ended. I'm not sure it fits in with 616 continuity. Either way, it's not Mark Scarlotti.

I really hope that they just ditch the Whiplash thing entirely once Vanko inevitably gets a suit. Whiplash isn't cool.

Well I think is quite possible. From what I can tell the movie combines Crimson Dynamo with Whiplash (obviously)

He attacks Stark on racetrack, Stark dawns the suitcase armor beats him, Hammer busts him out and equips him with better technology WHICH could be that suit?

Either way grungy Whiplash doesnt appeal to me

Something like that.

Hammer hires him to help 'improve' the tech. Since whiplash was able to recreate some of Stark's toys. Full details obviously will need to see the movie to know.

I'm kinda hoping he gets or builds the Dynamo suit in the process though, but he does help Hammer make the drones, or make them better.

Yeah, I'm sure it will be this way. And I prefer THIS Whiplash over the old S&M joker, but I never thought that the character was that cool...

...Now Unicorn on the other hand
