I was not aware that there was a DC Frankenstein too but wow. Nice to see that there's also a Captain Cold and Deadman. Fingers crossed Zatanna is close by.

As I pointed out on the other thread, out of all these listings only two females are present…

are you surprised? 2 females is more than generous of Todd in his mind. I also wonder if there is a regular Arkham City Catwoman coming since the one listed is a B&Q variant.

Oh hell yes to getting Mongul though, he's been on my wishlist since they started Megafigs so it's great to see he's already coming (allegedly). I'm guessing it'll likely be his Rebirth design but that's certainly fine by me.

Still no word if McFarlane are gonna go ahead with the DC direct BTAS line, I was surprised when they released the cell shaded Batman, Catwoman and that adventures continues Batman who laughs, I thought this line was long dead, I still hold out hope that one day I will see a Bruce Wayne released in this line

I was about 12 years old when that Calendar Girl episode was released and I remember having one of those weird kid crushes you used to get on cartoon characters, but yes, so many deserving characters never made the cut in that line, but at least we got Anti-Firesuit Batman : /

For me it’s just a matter of if he will include the female characters. Last edited by Arachnid13; 08-04-2022 at 02:24 PM.. |

They probably won't since those figures were likely only even released because they were the last ones DCC solicited in 2020 before they were shut down. McFarlane releasing these figures feels less like a proper revival and more like an effort to appease fans who were denied getting those by DCC's death.

Yep, Red Claw should have definitely gotten a figure, as well as Calendar Girl, and both versions of Barbara Gordon, I also think that one of the Mr Freeze figures should have been a deluxe and come with Nora in the cryogenic stasis tube, oh and a Summer Gleeson figure, ahhh it doesn’t matter who it is, if it’s a figure in this line I would have gotten it, LOVE BTAS!

As I posted in the Super Powers thread:

Looks like the new McFarlane leak is incomplete, because Wonder Woman!
Clearly a test figure what with the unpainted joints and (I'm assuming) lack of skirt, but hey hey, I'll take what I can get when it comes to getting some women in the line. Or any of the lines. There's also a very Toy Biz-y Reverse Flash in the mix: |

I’m sure I read somewhere that McFarlane apparently said they were gonna continue with the more popular DC Direct lines, of which the BTAS line was one, plus there was at least three more prototypes from this line that were shown that we haven’t seen released yet, until I get word that this line is officially dead I will continue to hope this collection grows
I am so lucky to have got him at ThinkGeek when he first released. |

That original series Scarecrow is probably one of the best figures in the line, it seemed to sell out instantly here in the U.K., it was cheaper for me to buy it from the USA, even with the shipping and import fees, over what the U.K. scalpers were charging from day one of its release. It would make good business sense to continue the line, the prices I’ve seen some of those figures go for on eBay are crazy, so people clearly really want figures from this cartoon, meanwhile I see the DCAU offerings McFarlane themselves gave us are still in stock and discounted everywhere…
