REAL TALK Yea the title was misleading but I had to make it like this otherwise it wouldn't fit. Anyways... I passed on the XMO Blob. ARM ARTICULATION ONLY? Hell no. Not buying. Don't care how good it looks. Green Lantern 4" line? Yea, not buying. So I figure it might be just a matter of time before Hasbro makes a Marvel Universe big ass Blob figure, fully articulated. Ya know, to make us fans happy and not piss us off. Haha. ANYWAYS. Should Blob have a SOFT BIG HUGE BELLY TO RUB? I think the XMO figure had one, but I don't remember. I would hate for it to be that sticky plastic that Mattel used on DCSH/DCUC Clayface. You know, the plastic that attracts stains and dust very easily.

Blob should be a straight repop of the XMO version but with a concealed slot in his back- he'd be an ideal piggy bank. And he could come with classic Rogue, Mistique, Destiny, Avalance and Pyro Holy crap, I'd scour the earth for such a boxed set- far FAR better than the Giant Size X-Men set. For a variant set, they could be in their Freedom Force costumes and Spider Woman would replace Rogue. |

I wouldn't say no to it, if it was done right. But definitely not a must! Although a little strange.... Anyways, what does XMO stand for? |

X-Men Origins- the sorta prefix for the Wolverine movie and it's toy line- which preceded the MU line, I think.

My little sister once had a barbie doll with a squishy belly. (Don't ask me why, cause I don't know) and if Blob was done right like that, then it would be one heck of an awesome figure!!

Hmm...is this an each to find, not insdanely expensive figure? I could use a Blob in my collection- it seems I'm building partnerships of certain kinds of figures- and BLob would look great next to Mystique! For example, I've also got Havok and C'Hod (Starjammers) Gladiator and Warstar (Inperial Guard). Strange- having just a couple from a team makes me want to go crazy and make the rest...some guy at the Fwoosh made almost the entite Imperial Guard in 5" and I am blown away by it! But I digress. Anyone wanna sell/trade me a Blob? If I recall correctly, the old Toybiz Blob was pretty good (for the time). you guys think that might work for 3.75 or is the head too big for scale? Looks like it'd repaint nicely... The XMO Version: Wow. This really...sucks. The arms are waaay too long....just...everything Last edited by Jason Abbadon; 05-01-2011 at 07:43 AM.. |

honestly? IMO the idea of a rubbery/ soft belly is unsettling and I would not wish that as a figure. A rework of the XMO could stand to work, but yeah, no to the soft belly.

That's different man Blob uses his tummy as a weapon, Ms Marvel would be Ms Marvel even if she was flat.

Putting the idea of sex as a weapon aside for now, I would prefer a Blob with a regular plastic belly. With a soft belly, I'd worry about it degrading and falling apart within a few years. They'd really have to make sure the right compound was used. I'm curious how the XMOW Blob is holding up. Actually they both came out in March of 2009.
