Official

The are in scale with legends. Except vision which looks out of proportion with the other figures

I have a similar shelf at home and judging by that picture Vision could be around 3.75".

Buy it or PM them, I could do with that Vision

OK I sent a message to the seller. I will let you know what he answers me back.

Photos aside what is making me also wonder if they are 6" is the shipping cost. Most Chinese sellers offer free shipping and when they don't it's because of the size and weight. Plus shipping a 4" figure doesn't cost more then $1 or so. Let's see.

I have a Vision on the way, but I'm fairly convinced these are legends. We have so few figures that have double jointed elbows in this scale. Plus most of the figures have torso articulation which we all know they took away from us.

I will post some pics when it arrives, but I purchased him to add to my MCU Legends.

Could be deceptive torso articulation though, like the first movie Avengers Captain America had. Where it looks like he has it, but really doesn't. Then there's also the fact that not all the figures have it either.

I'm not sure if these are 4'' or 6'' though either.

The scrunched up aspects in the details suggest 4'' as does the scarlet witch head sculpt being so close to the AOU figure's.

Then there are other little things like the display plates in the background and how the feet measure up to those.

Double elbows are a 6'' staple, but the style used here is similar to Motion Revive series, and show signs of similar scale to that. Legends pegs are typically a little bit bigger, but these are KOs too.

Could go either way.

I also sent one. If this doesn't work out then at the very least the distributor might notify the creator of these figures that there are a lot of people interested in quality 3.75" Marvel bootlegs.

Thank God. I was about to buy Scarlet Witch because I was really convinced that she was around 3.75".

Just received a reply message. They confirmed it is about 17cm. I asked for Ant-Man but I'm sure all others are around that.

Given some people ordered them already we can wait for full confirmation but I guess they are totally out of question for the 4'' verse

Dammit. And it especially sucks knowing that ML collectors don't really need these since they already have official versions of most of these characters with the exception of an updated Hawkeye, Vision, and a regular sized Civil War Ant-Man whereas we don't have a lot in terms of MCU figures in general at the moment. I'm still grateful for the few stuff we got like the BP/Agent 13 2 pack, the Civil War Cap, and the Civil War Falcon.

A regular on the ML thread said that he's gotten hold of one of the figures and is gonna post a review later tonight. His reviews are really high quality and in-depth so we can expect some good stuff from it.

He didn't specify anything about the scale but it's pretty much guaranteed to be 6" at this point. I wish some bootleggers would make some stuff like that for this scale.

A guy on the Facebook thread bought the set from Ali Express and posted pictures of them with his other legends figures a while back. Like I said they all looked great next to the ML figures except vision who looked out of proportion. I can't find which group I saw the pics in.

Yes I also don't understand the market for these. I can only understand if these are to be directed to Chinese Market otherwise they want make a business out of it.

If you consider shipping these will be $14 each which is almost the current price of some of the ML figures. So as someone mentioned besides Ant-Man, Hawkeye and Vision there is no point in getting these.

If we were talking about 4'' scale then yes total sense since there are many voids on it. Besides the ones above were missing Black Widow and Scarlet. Plus considering the price of Falcon this could be a cost effective solution

Saw this 5 POA Ultron is $7 at Dollar General. The back of the package pic has the figure painted in chrome/silver which looks way better than the actual figure, so a repaint may make for another Ultron army option. May fit ok with the taller MU figures.

Yeah I agree, should be half the cost as well! The box is nice and all but still..

Posed this on Rebelscum so will raise it here as well. Given that DR Strange gets released in the Cinema in a couple of months, anyone have a view on what we might see in 3.75" scale? I'd have thought a Cumberbatch figure is a given, with maybe a Mordo and Kaecillis 2 pack but nothing was shown at SDCC.

Been looking at this, at Family Dollar for $6. 3 PoA isn't that big a deal and he is close to the right height for 4", but the lack of detail has me hesitating.

CCC.

My updated MU mutants shelf...

Woohoo! Finally had the guts to open my variant Havok. At first I thought I made a huge mistake (lol) because he looked so underwhelming using that older body mold... but then I gave him Longshot's legs and Cap's belt and now I like him a lot. Rip MU Longshot... you died for a good cause.

Then I gave my MU Cable POC Dusty's webgear so that he would have extra pouches... like him alot more too now as well. Also gave MU Iceman the Freeze effect accessories that came with POC Arctic Destro to help disguise the older body mold usage. Also replaced my red Deadpool with the X-men one... and found Gambit's original staff that was missing for over a year (was so happy when I found it, lol).

Now just gotta wait for MU X-23 Wolverine and that Magneto looking fig I saw in the SDCC pics. As for Marvel Legends my collection consists of just MOC Archangel, Pizza Spidey and brown suit Wolvie. Probably will only get Rogue and Black Spidey and 90's Gambit if he ever comes out when the new Tatum Channing movie finally releases... then I'm done. Don't want to rebuy all the same characters at 6-inch scale.

Oh yah... and Disney Infinity. Once they announced their cancellation and all the figs went on sale for 5 bucks or less... I decided to break my No Marvel DI pledge and bought a few.

Maybe at NYCC.
It's an unproven property movie. So at most it'll get a single two pack. Probably skipped for now maybe. Though I could see them maybe pushing the two pack towards December as part of an expansion of the same two packs we got with Black Panther & Agent 13. I think this is one of those instances where the 4'' collectors are going to have to either wait until the Infinity War movie or a sequel.

If the movie proves strong enough though, I could see it as a figure promo to coincide with the home media release of the film. He's definitely on the list of 'characters to make for the MCU 4'' lines' but he's not exactly high on the list either yet. If Thor Ragnarok gets a 4'' line though, I could see them maybe finding a way to slot it in there. This would be the first Thor movie without some kind of 4'' merchandise, but then again Cap 3 was the first movie Cap didn't get one either.

So far the Pattern has varied, but IM1 was 6'' only. Ironman 2 was pure 4''. Cap 1 & 2 as well as Thor 1 $ 2 were pure 4'', and Avengers 1 was pure 4''.

Ironman 3 needed to vary it up because IM2 was oversaturated still from its immediate success. GOTG 1 focused on the ships. And Avengers 2 and Cap 3 focused on the GOTG 1 mini figs.

So with GOTG 2, and maybe Thor 3, we're due for a return of at least minimalist 4'' maybe to prep for Infinity War with Avengers 3 now that it has some distance from the previous product lines. And I know they probably want to go all out for the Captain Marvel movie too with both 6'' and 4'' representation to bolster those. Too much hype to not and demand is reaching peak levels to sustain those lines for shelf-life and sales.
