I think this is a sad day, in terms of the future of the line, Happy for me that I got six figures for the price of less then one normally cost.

I know right! I'm late to the discussion here about the top 3 marvel movies but right now (and I may be biased since I just saw GOTG2) I'd have to go with (in no particular order) Avengers, Winter Soldier, and GOTG Vol 2. I loved all the Easter eggs in GOTG 2, I bet I missed a ton of them.
Iron man gets an honorable mention since it kicked everything off and Tony stark literally and metaphorically bankrolled the MCU and turned marvel studios into a juggernaut, plus I loved the iron monger fight at the end. I still hope Marvel studios gets its xmen back and the FF.

I'd buy that for a dollar!

I wouldn't feel too bad, I can find the 6" figures for dirt cheap too.

I had to take a double look at the price, I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, thought maybe it read $10.00. After I scanned them and they came up a buck. I searched for more. It looks like a one and done deal the other Walmart's in the area have them all still at full price.

Is it just me, or do the first waves of relaunches tend to be over ordered?

FINALLY found the Homecoming set. Have to admit I like the Vulture a lot more than I originally thought I would and the Spider-Man is just aces. I'll be glad to put them up with the rest of the MCU I've got when I set my figures back up.

Good find. I also found myself liking the Vulture more than I thought I would considering every post I ever made about it before it came out was complaining that the head is wrong. At first I just wanted the Spidey in this pack because he went with the Vulture (to have a hero vs villain thing) but it is a really cool figure on its own rights. It's like the Civil War Black Panther to me, yeah the articulation could've been a little better but the level of detail (especially the sculpt) for the size makes them both great.

It is probably just your Walmart that is getting rid of them.

My Wal-Mart is getting rid of them. Friday there were 2 and a half pegs full of the Ulik wave, yesterday not single figure was there, MU pegs removed. They weren't in clearance aisle either, don't know if they just haven't been put there yet or someone wiped them all out at a clearance prices.

Does anyone know if someone makes a head cast of a hoodless Doom?
Mask still on, just with the hood down.

Also, does anyone have any Doom heads in their fodder box they would sell or trade?

Almost finished with the DOOM setup and am about to pull the trigger on a 2005 Fantastic Four film DOOMBOT (smash attack) Marvel Legends from Toy Biz to finish it up. Would REALLY like to have a Doom head with the hood down so you can see his head.

That would be annoying. Right after some Walmarts started stocking them that all of them just drop them. I don't think it has been a whole month since the one WM here got them in again.

This happened once before at one of my walmarts... forget which year it was but they just placed all their remaining MUs, Joes & SW figs in the clearance section for $1 each. I remember all they had left were bazillion Johnny Flames & Hobgoblins, Arctic Destros and forget which SW figs they had, but I remember they also cleared out all their Arc Fighters at the same time for 20 bucks each too.

Actually, come to think of it... that was the last time I ever saw either Joes or MU at that particular Walmart.

Yep, checked 2 stores today and both have placed all MU in the clearance aisle, one store has them at $5, $3.50 at the other.

I decided to check my store too. Yep all gone. They must have been $1.
Very aggravating Walmart teases that they will be back then dumps them again.

NC151 x2

Went with this in the end. Should give me the look I need. Still in the market for the rare ML Doombot from the 2005 FF film. Got a good lead on a couple, so we will see.

After being inspired by D-Day and disappointed by HASBRO, thinking about going back and upgrading everything. New heads, part swapping that sort of thing. Make what I do have as good as it can be. Also, investing heavily into flight stands and protech stands for everyone.

The Ultron army is coming along. Up to five now. Not sure how big to go with that army, but just getting one here and there as a good opportunity presents itself. He is one of my favourites, always liked him but ever since the EMH two part cartoon I have been hooked. Then, his role in Avengers 2.... love the scene when Thor asks,"is that the best you can do" and literally hundreds appear. Just looking for enough to fill a scene in a Detolf. Maybe his cool chair maybe not. Maybe some altered robotic versions, like one with a tank bottom half, maybe not. Perhaps some 6" ones, maybe not. Time will tell.

Besides waiting on new stuff... what are you guys looking for? Anyone army building something new to them? Anyone looking to finish up older teams? Any customs on the table or wanting commissioned? I always like hearing what you guys are up to and trying to do.

I went back through the thread and couldn't find it, but who was it that made the Rocket Raccoon custom from a mega blood figure?

On phone so forgive typos...I'm wrapping up the latest batch of customs but am looking to keep adding new characters to the collection. I've also mentioned having custom shelves made before. Well, I decided forgo giving that money to someone else and started making them myself. I've got one custom shelf built and have the heroes on it. I still need two more: 1 for villains and 1 for cosmic characters. Hoping to have the villain one done next week and then I'll take pics. I do want to get some more AIM drones in. Beyond that, expanding shield and hydra rosters and continuing to mine some of marvel recent "events" for characters to make. I'm well into secret invasion right now and while the story sucks I'm finding some interesting character designs I want to tackle.

Lastly, I will get to pms when I'm at an actual computer.

Like many of us I made a list of all of the characters I really wanted, I then spent a bit of time identifying the best base figures to use. I've been slowly buying up those figures, sometimes the characters get made any way and sometimes better base figures are made, but I'm pretty much there now, just need to actually make them.

At the moment, however, I am working on 3.75" versions of Mileena, Kitana and Jade!

Lapu Lapu I believe.... I enjoy reading what you guys are up to, thanks. Hope to see more.

Just scored two more Ultrons and two more HYDRA goons. Like a boss! Also gonna TRY some new heads to make the HYDRA goons look more old school. I secretly hope it doesn't work, because Of don't want to buy 50 of them. Not that I have 50 to put them on, but ever the optimist.

Found this cool pic of EARTHS MIGHTIEST HEROES
