I did it.....I bought 15 of those suckers and drove them down town to a older target. The manager was brought over and he asked me why I'm returning 15 of the same thing. I told him I had a receipt everything was fine but if they weren't going to handle the situation with their product I would.
I also told him I'm tired of going into every target in Knoxville to see this one guy over and over. Either mark them them down or order new product. Well a week later new cases hit the target I bought all the purple guy at..... Quote:
I was wondering what general Marvel era(s) do you guys go for with MU figures, given that you don't collect every figure? I tend to stick to the Bronze Age (mid 70s- late 80s) for the most part wit a few Modern Age (90s) and even less Digital Age (00s-now). That's one of the things I like best about MU is that a fan of any era of Marvel can get characters they know and want. I wouldn't have thought I'd be able to get 3.75'' figures of a lot of the characters I grew up with, rather than just tons of new characters and repeats of the ones pretty much any person can name like Wolverine or Spider-Man (which yes they did do repeats of them, but along side more obscure characters). That being said are there any eras you think they are forgetting and need more of? Like leather jacket Avengers or Morrison X-Men?

I heard your story about the arm before among others. Glad I did too. When I opened her, I did it in the walmart parking lot to check her arms first, and ever since I'm careful with them to support them ever bend or turn to make sure.
So I gotta thank you guys. Because of all those horror stories, I'm making sure she stays intact. Quote:

Good to hear you got a good quality figure, breaking limbs has never been much of an issue for me,its only ever happened twice, apocalypse was the other figure(leg)<<<fixed that problem.
id expect most of these guys to hit retail, though blonski could be the hard to get of the bunch like baghead,we may yet see that antman 2 pack. Fantastic figure, thanks for sharing it with us ![]() Quote:
I cannot agree with ya more bro. Plus I think ppl posting pictures or collection photos, we can all appreciate that and relate so when we do trades or deals with each other, its more personable.
Nicely done. I always think of doing that. I should try that at my Walmart. I think there are only like 2 MU figures left. Man I'll tell you what. The first 3.75 figure I bought was XMO Deadpool. The roomate was collecting MU and I got sucked in. At first it was just collecting figures I liked, Spidey (X-Men), then when I got into trouble was trying to complete the teams. I always appreciate it when you can complete the team. Then Marvel starting hitting up the summer movie releases and then starting reading comics and it was over from there. |

I'm pretty sure that's a custom using a Avengers movie Hulk, very nicely I might add. I really ave no idea why they didn't include Beast in the X-Factor set (Scott, Jean, Warren, Bobby, Apocalypse and Sinister. No Hank, it's a damn shame. I was never a fan of Morrison's cat Beast so any other Beast figure would be snatched up by me quickly.

Man that old skool beast custom is so sweet. That looks like it took quite a bit of effort but the end result shows itself at the end.
Big shout out to Colder Soldier. Got this in the mail yesterday (perfectly timed with my birthday). Thanks a lot. I've been hunting to get this guy. ![]() Now I can finally do this. ![]() ![]() |

I was in toys r us today and I saw something interesting. They had this $20 pack with the 2 2-headed wolf monsters with saddles on them. One was brown and the other was white. They come with two greenish action figures. I'm thinking they would be a great alternative to the Hobbit Wolves. I think the pack was called true warriors. Sorry no pic.

epic weekend haul part duex:
![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us My local toy collector shop was only charging 17 for Thor. And since people were mentioning how Marvel figs were found at the Disney Store, I went in and found another Nova.
