Makes sense to me and I completely agree! I made a Thor on the same buck and it just bugs the crap out of me every time I look at it. Something about that Herc body makes it only work *well* for certain characters. Thor just isn't one of those characters. However, I think putting him on the Ares buck would make a world of difference which is what I'm going to do once I get around to re-doing that custom. (Damn custom OCD.)

Also need to find one of those heads too. The Thor head from 1st appearance Avengers box set is just squashed looking. Like he got smashed with a frying pan.

In 2013 the canceled Iron Man 2 movie 3 pack with unmasked Tony, Rhody, and a Black Widow figure started mysteriously showing up at discount stores in the U.K.

Before it was widely known this was happening I spotted one on eBay, and put a bid in on it for 100$ or something like that.

Then it started coming out that these packs were showing up, so I messaged the seller and asked if he had gotten the pack at a discount store to which he said yes. So he let me cancel my bid because he knew that I knew he was a scalper.

Then, here on Toyark, where we are supposed to be a community of collectors who help each other out to avoid getting shafted by scalpers Jackieboy posted that he had found a set and whoever wanted it should PM him.


So I did, and that's when Jackieboy tried to get me to trade him carded Blade, (which at the time was worth about 80 dollars U.S.) full color Vision (which at the time was worth over 150 dollars U.S.) and one of the Ms. Marvels (which at the time was worth north of 60 dollars U.S.).

He tried to get me to give up over 200 dollars worth of figures for a pack that he got for less than 20. And had no shame in doing it.


So, that's another reason, that I won't be pm-ing you Jackieboy.

But since you are trying to bring them up, and you mention that they were trying to get 250 for the set

The 3 figures that you asked to have traded you, which I listed the approximate value at the time for totaled 290.

So you were not willing to take 100 dollars for the set, you were trying to get 290 dollars worth of product.

Which is 40 dollars higher than the people you are trying to call out.

All for a set that was hitting discount chains and cost you 20 dollars or less.
