Found this nice pack at the 183/Mopac TRU this afternoon. I about died when I saw the $30 price tag. Thankfully I had $10 reward coupons and a 20% off coupon so I only paid around $15. Good find today. There's still a couple more available.

Spotted a near empty peg with a couple pegwarmers and TWO Hercules yesterday at TRU! I know he's been spotted, but this means the series was stocked at a midwest TRU so be on the lookout everyone!

Here's today's haul from my local TRU in IL.

I was fortunate enough to put the inhumans on layaway when the price was still $20 and they still honored it.

Swung by TRU today they had two rows of WCA pack, one row each of inhumans and xmen. I want all three unfortunatly I could afford one. But I am now a very happy owner of Rogue and Longshot. I compared every set they had and am quite happy with my rogue's face. I was surprised to see how widely the paint apps varied and how much difference it made.

IMO finding a Rogue with a perfect left eye is very hard (had to fix mine by scraping away some iris to reveal more white)... finding a Jubilee with perfect eyes is near impossible.

Longshot is really cool though... his fig kinda reminds me of Havok; I bet someone could make a cool X-factor Havok using the Longshot torso as a base.

My local Super Wal-Mart which I hardly ever see any MU at had the new Punisher, Kang, and Scarlet Witch. I picked up Scarlet Witch, if I had the extra cash for it I would have snagged all three but Wanda is a female figure/Avenger/X-villain/Magneto's daughter so that trumped Kang who will look great next to the TARDIS. Punisher looks all right.

I have noticed that Scarlet Witch is a bit too skinny though.

well, this weekend was good in terms of new MU. Last night I won a metal Absorbing Man on Ebay for 15 bucks shipped, and today I went to a local toy/collectors show and got these. Human Torch was only 10 bucks.

Updated my MU shelf... added Xavier and Deadpool. I thought I only need Colossus, but now I'm thinking my MU shelf could also use a little more white... as in 3 pack Emma Frost.

Oh, and I wish there was a cheap way to make an ice slide; having Iceman just standing there sux. I know there was that DC Aqualad ice accessory, but that thing was really blue and only matched up with the XMO Iceman IMO.

Oh, and I wish I had the guts to open Havok too. LOL. I really love my little MU X-men shelf though... the only things that bug me is Gambit's long modern hair, Psylocke's face sculpt & my Beast not having a coat to help cover up the fact that he's grey and not blue. LOL.

Yah, those are actually all Figma stands from my Figma anime figs... they all come with the same stand. So now all my Figmas are standing on their own two feet in their display case. The cool thing is the Figma stand end peg fits exactly into the back hole of my Showdown beast... so for Beast I can pose him anyway I want, but for the other figs I gotta hope they have somewhere to stick the peg into like a jacket or wings or something.

Do you have a hot glue gun? If so you can make a pretty sick ice look with some clear hot glue.

Edit: Here's a pic.

ahhh ok, i normally use tamashii stands but i like the hexagon bases since i imagine they'd fit figures closer together versus normal rectangular stands. i dig!

also have you thought of using the ice base that came with ML iceman?

Not as cool as yours. You've got way more frost giants and wendigo figures too.

I hate that when that happens with stands. It makes putting those team displays hard to do when the stands are bigger.

Hot glue works well. Pretty easy to pull off if you don't want to paint it either.

Those are mainly for Gundams and Valkyries right? My anime store has those I think, but they are pretty expensive IIRC. I don't feel so bad for buying so much anime Figmas now in retrospect... since it is like I got some MU flight stands for free now. LOL.

Walmart in St Louis spotted to have 2 Professor X, 2 Jubilee, and 1 Blastaar Variant this morning. I picked up one Jubilee and Professor X for trade/sale on here since I have both (will just return if no one wants) and the Old Man Hot Wheels guy picked up the Blastaar variant seconds before I showed up..

So the above was what I posted in the "in stock" thread (just so you understand my rant), but I HATE scalpers that don't touch MU EVER except the day a variant hits the shelf.. wanted to punch him. SO I think instead I need any and all of your help and knowledge of the rare hot wheels so I can start scalping those right out from under him! Fight fire with fire.. let him know how it feels.

And before anyone says maybe he wanted it, we have spoke many times. They are there every single morning of the week and have said they only collect hot wheels. I let them know I want nothing to do with anything except MU. He knows very little about the line from my experience, but clearly knows a variant when he sees it.. because he was quick to snag and carry that around. I even politely asked if he was definitely going to buy it because I actually don't have either Blastaar and this was the first time I'd seen it. He just said "yep" and walked away to look at the hot wheels. end rant.. moving on..

^ I don't think that Blastaar variant is in that much demand... could be wrong though. I just think everybody who wants Blastaar wants the variant version cuz he looks cooler... but overall way more people want Xavier. At my local specialty shop they got in 3 cases... so that means 6 of each I think. All the Professor Xs sold out... there was 3 Jubes left and 5 Blastaars and I think 3 of those were the variants.

Angel and Nova though... those are hard to find.
