Based on nothing but my opinion...I am not surprised that Archangel sold out before Doom. It seems X-men characters sell the best in the MU line...especially MU characters featured in the classic/awesome 90s X-men cartoon.

Typically, HTS and not available to overseas collectors. How many will go on Ebay looking for the "market rate" now?

I think it's because the unmasked doom is the biggest joke of an MU yet. A totally incorrect headswap and the infinity gauntlet. Terrible excuse for a figure

I think it's because even the normal versions of Archangel are hard to get and Doom is pretty easy to come by. Plus you make to have loose pretty easily.

I hope they will come with the box because the art on that is pretty nice.

I hope they re-release X-Force Archangel in a 3 pack... maybe like X-Force 3 pack part 2 with Psylocke and Fantomex. I hope the world is suddenly flooded with MU Archangels! LOL.

I whole-heartedly agree. I don't think it is bc Archangel is an XMan so much as the Von Doom figure is a crappy attempt. I mean you could buy 3 three regular figures, not come near the cost of the sub fig and recreate almost exactly minus hair color and scar (a small bit of paint anyone?).

Had they taken an existing figure (non-XMen) and done something better then it would have sold. Heck, they could have even just re-release the Nick Fury and it probably would have sold better. They could easily have Frankenfigured any number of prior releases and done better. For example, the Steve Rodgers body and Samuel L. Fury head into Nick Fury could have been done easily as could a simple repaint of Vision in all White like he had been for a while in the comic, or a yellow/brown repaint of the new Daredevil mold, or a Grey Hulk v.2 or a Norman Osborn headed Hydra Troop like in the back of the MU Cards. I mean the options are endless as opposed to another green Doom with no change and a Steve Rodgers head.

AAAAAAHHHHH I got shat on today!!! I was watching HTS all morning. left work to get lunch (Iphone locked to HTS) two blocks from work at 10:56.... sideswiped at a stop light by an old lady off her meds!(no I was not on looking at the phone at the time)no severe injuries but three hours later when everything was sorted out I checked my phone, BOOM!!! no more AAs. I considering claiming it on my insurance. needless to say I'm uber pissed, but I got Doom...and everyone bagged on him...I suck...

I am sad that I missed out on Archangel, the part of me is glad to see these figures get put out there on HTS. This always makes me think of how many other exclusive figures are sitting in boxes and some warehouse in Connecticut.

Hopefully I can find An arker to hook me up, or it will at least drive the eBay prices down on Archangel and I will be able to pick one up that way.

HTS must have had way more Dooms than Angels. The Angels had been for sale a year before Doom came out. Angel is more popular and they didn't even bring Doom to the convention last round when selling digital subs.

I'm pretty sure they are only dumping these figures because the Marvel digital comics thing has gone to a cheaper price with no exclusive figure so they had to sell them somehow.

i didnt want to lose out on getting at least one of each cause i took to long on the check out

Well, the $150-$250 prices were a bit excessive. Probably just someone trying to list before people pop up with prices like $60 or $75.

I don't get why people list stuff they don't actually have yet though. The "pre-orders" for Con exclusives always bug me every year. Those people may not even get those figures, although they usually have ways of getting them. You are just paying for their trip to San Diego so they don't have to spend any money out of pocket.

my guess is that they have the one there selling, its scalpers trying to unload before the market floods. I've been looking for months and there hasn't been more than three AAs at a time on Ebay now its closer to 20....the flood beginith. if they get below 50 I'm swimming!

I'd kill a puppy with a stick to score one for 30!!! (note to the hypersensitive: I am, have, or will not actualy kill a puppy, nor do I condone the killing of puppies, its hyperbily.) But if anyones got an AA for 30 and an unwanted puppy...PM me.

If a fellow Arker happens to not have found their (very unwell) hidden Hercules that was behind some gawd awful 12 inch Mego looking Thors and Lokis at the Rivergate TRU this week, know that he found a very nice home with me.

And damn you for going ahead and buying the Nova and Angel out of the wave. (J/K).

And it's in Scalper land too where most of these are originating from. (LA, CA) How ironic.
