Got a good point there. Marvel Universe 3.75 in its original glory, didn't start out, as a movie toyline. Perhaps its future version should be more like its past self. More of an "ever green" line with movie figures just sprinkled here and there.

I was on Matty.com and tried to suggest this to Mattel for the DCIH line. Create a comiccentric line and do specific moviecentric limited sublines for movies and TV as they come out, all in scale, for example: Do the comic Earth Green Lanterns in the core line but do the movie Hal and both movie and comic versions of the alien GLs in the movie subline. The same could have been done with Thor, making BOTH versions of the Warriors 3, Odin, Sif, etc., in the movie line. This way you get extra comic figures for the comic line from a separate budget, so more figures overall.

They never listen, must not be smart enough.

i've prob only bought one or two 3.75 figs in the last.. almost 3 years
(x-23 and lady deadpool)
But yesterday i just happened to see the Collector and some version of a Cap figure 2pack... that Collector is a damn good looking figure. IMO one of the best in that size range i've seen in awhile...
wish they made that exact figure in 6"

i wouldn't be surprised if one is in the works already.
Some of the recent Marvel Legends 6 inch figures look like larger scaled versions of their Marvel Universe 3.75 inch counterpart. They have a 6 inch Civil Warrior by way of Hydra Supreme.

I hadn’t thought of that! Excellent idea. What desperate times we live in.

I saw a Domez that looked like the head would work. It was in a box set of 4 at Gamestop.

IM2 as well, both before I started collecting MU. Mattel had no excuse, they just went all over the place with scale, worse than Hasbro has now.

I had planned to put the domez head on a minimate, but the mystery mini was more cost effective

I didn't bother looking at the price on the Domez box.

If it is, it is off to a really slow start, especially for Mattel.

They had a similar setup for the 6" stuff for a while with the movie master sub-line, which is where they did the figures for stuff like Man of Steel or the GL film. Eventually they just folded it into the proper Multiverse line.

I'm guessing for the same reasons Hasbro eventually stopped doing separate 6-inch lines movie and just folded those into Marvel Legends as well: retailers want the movie stuff, which makes getting them to order other figures that much easier.

Hey folks, It's been a long time since I've posted on here. Reading back through seeing lots of you talk about a hiatus & taking time to fill in gaps. Well maybe I can be of some help. I'm pretty much exclusive with Legends & looking to sell my entire MU collection. Would anyone be interested? Haven't even thought of a price, but If interested I could make up a list & take pics. I have all kinds of stuff, MU, GI Joe, MTF. May not have been the best place to post either, sorry for that.

I’d love to take a look at a list of what you have. Send one my way.

Ummm start? It is already over. They also decided to move into 6 inchers. Now they gave up the DC license.
All we got were mostly video game characters & a few movie ones.

That was Toyguru blowing smoke to keep his MOTU from being blamed for it.

I heard the reason why the dcih line was cancelled was because during one of those mattel q&a's, some dciu fan insulted toyguru's daughter. not sure how true that is though. just a rumor going around.

Ahahah, so funny. Even funnier than dozen of your previous posts repeating the same thing.

Meanwhile in MATTEL, true power of 3.75 inch scale in all its beauty:
