I have the Galileo, and it does work pretty good with the 3.75” figures. They fit reasonably well in the seats the vehicle has. It’s weird, the vehicle is comically undersized for its intended scale (like an adult on a Big Wheels), and almost perfect for 3.75” figures. The control panel is a little big.

I have found that most vehicles and playsets made for 5 and 6 inch figures are typically too small, probably in an effort to conserve material (plastic) and reduce cost. This makes most of these work well for 1/18 scale, more proof that this is the true and proper scale for 'action' figures.

If I can find time tomorrow I'll get try and get pics of my version of FFH Mysterio. Parts list (from memory): Latest version of the MCU Vision as a base fig, sculpted armour, MU Mysterio lower legs/gauntlets, Hollowed out helmet, soft goods cape and modified Prince of Persia Gyllenhall head.

The whole reason the scale was invented is so that they could make playsets and vehicles.

The 'scale' was invented because a Mego Corp. exec raised his hand with thumb and forefinger apart and said "Make it this big (tall)." and someone measures it and it was 3 and 3/4 inches tall. Personally I think they should have just gone to 4", but oh well.

pretty sure the same can be said about vehicles made for 4 inch figures being too small. look at the helicarrier. that thing looks like it was made more for 2 inch figures. another is the uss flagg. as someone who's been on carrier ships, those things are huge.

There are understandable compromises with things like the Flagg, but those compromises should not impact bikes, cars, boats, fighter planes, and shuttles.

Or play sets I found the BvS Batcave and JL ultimate battle playsets which are pretty much the same thing with a few tweaks for the justice league set work better with 3.75 figures vs the 6 inch basic line figures they were designed for.

See, I heard it was Kenner, and that it came about because they were arguing about how tall to make “Star Wars” figures so that they could still make a Death Star. But regardless, the point stands, vehicles work better in this scale. Although there is definitely still a compromise.

I heard that back when it was at Walmart and I looked it over but I just did not like it that much.

McFarlane Toys just expressed interest in doing Marvel toys + vehicles = https://www.newsarama.com/44134-todd...l-with-dc.html

McFarlane likes 365 day year round evergreen toys; versus seasonal toys tied to film. Jesse Falcon could / should spread his "Legends" line. Same way Marvel spreads the Avengers' lines (Sideshow, Hasbro, and Mattel's Hot Wheels all do Avengers toys). If Hasbro doesn't like 3.75, maybe Jazwares, McFarlane, or Mattel can do an evergreen "Little Legends" line. Vintage 3.75 carded versions, of evergreen classic Toy Biz clamshells (with faux plastic edges printed on cardback),

I miss the days when MLs came with a comic and really kickass bases. Honestly can't remember if they were $7.99 though.

^^^ Any 3.75 collector will be greatful for a smaller measly image of a comic on a 3.75 cardback; as we all miss just seeing Marvel 3.75 figures on pegs. On the note of missing, there will be people who will longingly see such retro cardbacks as a new nostalgia. Kinda like G.I.Joe's 25th Anniversary cardbacks. The 20th Anniversary of Toy Biz Classics / Legends is nearly up (2001/2002). So send your DC Multiverse 3.75 figures to McFarlane so he can pay the expensive toolings for a generic poseable 3.75" figure body he can use for both DC and hopefully Marvel,

We can send some Multiverse 3.75 figures (with the "Multiverse" label) to McFarlane Toys showing how that label began; and thus they can make figures in our favorite scale. Love to see 3.75 figures inspired by Todd McFarlane 1980s' art!

I was not impressed by Hasbro putting Dazzler on the MU card art and not giving us a figure of her. Really bad form there.

Was excited to see Watcher on card art, too. Speaking of carded, any customizer here able to make a carded 3.75" version of Toybiz's classic clamshell? Just add the word "Little" to "Legends." Hopefully Jesse Falcon can see it and get excited over one possible "20th Anniversary" toyline. If another toy company "World's Smallest" can do a license with Mattel to make even smaller Hot Wheels; then Jesse surely can do the same with some retro "Little Legends,"

Got a good idea there. Maybe a mini-comic "preview sheet" of a past, or even present and future comics, can be included. Complete with a code for free or discounted stuff (like the full complete online version of the comic at Marvel Unlimited, or coupons for more figures, etcetera) can help sell a "Little Legends" 20th Anniversary toyline.

in fairness to jesse he gave Dave vonners stand alone Marvel Universe line a 10 year run.but as vala pointed out bad sales figures effectively killed it off.
but given mcfarlanes history with marvel,he could easily get the green light for his own 4" comic based toy line.a fresh take and a good shipping system may see a fresh new fanbase emerge.

LoL,"little legends"!!!
we were also getting bases, vehicles, baf pieces, characters and accessories with those comics and legends figures back then.they cost 15 where i was but they did show up in some stores stateside for less than 10 bucks, pricing errors by staff.
ive always said they should have dropped about 95% of the gimmicks and used that plastic on things like weapons, alternate heads, hands, even parts to build other characters.there was a guy who did custom MU packaging for custom figures a few years back and he was really good at it.
