SG is based on a gijoe scarlet so fully articulated. Dani is static 3d print. I've since moved onto doing 5POA prints where I can, just finished a Magik and very happy with it.

In theory I can do fully articulated but it would require a lot of work for a print that could easily fall. Maybe when I get my own printer. For now 5POA and static figs will do me to round out my X-Men display.

SGs tail is very heavy so I might replace it with a 3d printed one at some point.

Both figures look great! Awesome photos! I knows little about 3d printing and was skeptical about how easy it would be to convert 3d model game files to a workable 3d printing format. Your effort looks like a great success.

Very nice. How much harder would knee joints be? I always liked the Galoob TNG figures because at least they could sit in chairs on the bridge.

Those really turned out nice.

Have you checked out https://giga-bread-digital-bakery.myshopify.com ? His stuff is 3D printed. He has some GI Joe torsos, so you might be able to pick his brain on tips for printing more complex parts.

quite a bit as it's not possible to do knee joints with just a cross section. again it's more than doable but fiddling around with small parts makes print failure more likely and almost everything i've printed thus far has had some sort of error. this is a mixture of me being new to it and the free to use printer I'm using not being properly configured of course.

That said I remember the DBZ Hybrid figures from a few years back where pretty much nothing but cross sections and managed to be fairly posable, though it was an odd approach.

good to see the rainbow batman and rainbow deadpool creator is doing well and now working at lanard. I was worried for him after dc collectibles and hasbro fired him.
