Can the Sentinel get an "Extra Month" (given the world's present predicament)? Unicron got an extra month. Why not Marvel fans too? Hasbro / Disney will love extra sales. Collectors would love a new round of freebies! What freebies you'd like to see?!?
1. Wild Sentinel "attachments" (attachable to any of the extra noggins) 2. Spiderman Sentinel repaint. With removable vinyl "paint spatter" stickers for figure 3. Tri Sentinel Arm set ![]() ![]() |

For a proposed "Extended Month" to buy more Sentinels; an endless array of stretch goals can be economically achieved. Via an endless array of Wild Sentinels / attachments...

Sure did to all of the above. None of that changes a single thing I said. They might have data that supports the decision, I just don't see it happening. Nor do I think a Tri-Sentinel head has the same appeal as a Master Mold head, battle damaged head or additional 6 inch figures and won't bring in a couple of thousand more people just because of it.
Could I be wrong? Absolutely. Do I care if I am? Not in the least. I already ordered the ones I wanted and will be glad to have them. Doesn't change the fact that I think tying this head to such a large number of new backers with now 6 days to go was smart to do.

And to be frank I don't care about the head itself one way or the other. I was already on board from the moment I first saw the Sentinel in full. My only decision was how many to buy. I'd have bought more but I've been going Omnibus crazy lately. Speaking of Omnibuses the X-Men Mutant Massacre book is crammed with so much extra material surrounding the event. More tie-in issues and lots of art and such in the back. It's a great purchase for X-Men fans. Nice big pages with crisp colors. It's up there in price, but I give it the highest recommendation if you're a hardcore X-Men fan! Last edited by Mordiganne; 08-20-2020 at 10:00 AM.. |

Since I brought up Omnibuses, "Acts of Vengeance: Crossovers" is reasonably priced and has a ton of issues in it. Acts of Vengeance was an even bigger event than I realized it was and wove through a ton of titles. The previous book I got was only the Avengers portion. Considering some of the long lasting effects on the heroes from this - such as Psylocke becoming an Asian ninja assassin - I'm surprised the story line isn't more highly regarded.
Edit: For any fans of The Darkness there's a kickstarter going on that's about to end. I'm sure given the success the rest of the volumes will be produced. The compendiums are insanely expensive so this is a good way to get the beginning issues in a hardcover volume. I got extremely lucky with the compendium set I have and I still couldn't get the first volume in hardcover. Way too expensive. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...hc/description I backed this a long time ago, just sharing this for any that might not know. I'm hoping they'll allow backers to get in on the Cyber Force and Witchblade books. Last edited by Mordiganne; 08-20-2020 at 10:24 AM.. |

Simply put, they're creating an artificial tier and tying it to getting even more people to buy into a rather expensive item. Instead of just saying something akin to, "you all blew away our wildest expectations, here's a little thank you."...and then they show us the Tri-Sentinel head. And yes, these Sentinels are expensive ($377 w/tax each for me). The fact that they already sold thousands beyond what they even thought they could should have been rewarded with this new piece. And still, their internals numbers might show this is well within the margins. I have no idea. I just don't think it was a smart thing to do from a business perspective.

I just think it’s lame hasbro has to crowd fund something like that. They had over $4 BILLION in revenue last year, grow a pair and offer it for sale when it’s done, don’t put all the risk on your most loyal customers and fans. I’m skipping it personally based on how they’ve flipped the bird to 3.75” collectors.

No, the first three tiers were pre-planned and that was it. They had nothing else after those because they didn't expect this to do as well as it has. That's direct from Hasbro.
Ok. They're at 15000. They could hit 16000 as well. I also don't care. This has no bearing on my purchases either way and I'm a little tired of discussing a plastic head that I don't care about. So I'll stop now. ![]() And one thing I'm not going to do is argue business ethics on here. That can of worms has no end. |

Thanks!
Yep, it was a Vort kit. Took a long time since at first, he sent me one with a messed up tail. Then the hand got messed up, so it sat for about a year half finished while I was in school. Just finally finished it. |

It should be like twice as large. Still...I wish I could buy just the head for my MU Sentinel- it'd actually scale correctly!

Fortunately shipping is free. You just won't see that until you go to checkout. It's only cost ($349.99) + whatever your local taxes add on to the total.

A lot of people on social media are asking for an extension. That can bring some more stetch goals / cool accessories. So let's do our part, post that request, or call Hasbropulse
