Pulse, Pulsecon and most of Hasbro's initiatives are geared towards collectors, which have traditionally thumbed their noses at non-6" product, and especially things produced that don't meet the standards of "high end collectibles".

As a result of collector indifference (to outright hostility), Hasbro just doesn't talk about "kids toys" anymore outside of press releases for launches.

I find it...unlikely...that Hasbro will do much of a push for Marvels. The original Captain Marvel line didn't do much, and I don't see Hasbro putting too much in such a female centric film (and corresponding product line).
Especially with the all the leads of the film already at retail in the Marvel Legends format.

That said, I feel it probable that at least Danvers and Kamala will make it into the kid-Avengers line some fashion.

Possible starting point could be a fortnite joltara. Since the FN figures pop easily at torso, you could swap out mid-section or just add in something to be the lower portion of her clothes. Little paint on the hair and mask, head would be easiest part I'd think.

Some are pretty awesome. There are a number of them who are close enough resemblance to certain characters that with just a bit of paint and/or slight tooling can pass for other characters - joltara makes for decent kamala ms marvel, riptide head as is makes for a passable slade wilson/unmasked deathstroke, isabelle is a good start for a spoiler, the mask attached to raz's belt looks like a possible good fit for cheshire. The list goes on. Not lost on me that most of these are DC, not marvel, but that's just a few from top of my head.

having seen their 2024 offerings already I just want to rage at the lack of female characters in this. The old school Marvel Universe stuff was bad enough, but somehow in 2023/4 after Captain Marvel made a billion we're still stuck on the "Girls don't buy Superheroes ��" shite.

As both a wimmenz collector and someone who babysits kids it's such horseshit, when it comes to the movies at least boys and girls go to see them.

You seriously think the kids I babysit that roleplay Skibidi Toilet wouldn't be able to get into Strong Glowy Space Lady? Come the fuck on. There's some Barbie Movie boardroom-ass cigar smoking chode, the same sort who decided he didn't personally like 4 inch figures so let's kill them, who chuckles at all the M-She-U memes and decided to put a hard cap on the number of female characters they can even make.

Thank God they're making those Ahsoka figs at least. I feel like I've given up on this shitshow of a line before we even saw any of them outside of the US.

It is pretty brazen, and it's the same kind of execs I suppose that forced Iron Man 3's main villain to be male so they could sell toys (of which they never made toys of the main villain outside of Lego and Heroclix) and none of the female mutants other than Leatherhead getting figs until wave 2 in the Mutant Mayhem line (and also not letting April's figure get a single release until later, either, making her an exclusive to a multi-pack).
