I really wish North Star and Aurora had come out in a two-pack. Of all the characters in the MU, those two are perfect for one (they need each other for their powers to work, for pete's sake). But I don't think I'm ever going to see either of them at retail anyway, so at least I won't have to worry about only having half of the team.
haha, to be honest I wish Aurora's head wasn't so big, but I wish they were a 3 pack. Snowbird was always my fav and she always gets the short end of the stick

Well Cloak and Dagger too.

Who's the genius that came up with the Thor/Iron Man 2-pack?

I am pretty sure they got rid of Aurora and Northstar needing each other a while ago. Haven't seen much with them in it but I know Northstar has been without her in recent comics.

i dont really know anything about their powers, but are they basically marvels version of the Wonder Twins from DC?

Definitely. The only MU version we got was her owl form packed with Puck.

Would've also liked Sasquatch. Easy remold into Wendigo, too. Fingers crossed they eventually come out in some other line, but with MU articulation.

Well, they both have powers independent of each other. But they also had a couple that could only be used when they were in direct contact with each other (which I believe is still the case).

Kinda, though Aurora and Northstar's powers were vastly different from the Wonder Twins. WT had to contact each other to use their powers, while Jean-Paul and Jeanne Marie had independent and combined powers, as I mentioned above.

Both have superhuman speed, flight, strength, and endurance. Northstar is faster, but Aurora has greater endurance and can maintain speed longer than her brother. When touching, they are able to emit bursts of light to blind opponents (referencing their code names).

EDIT: And after a quick Wikipedia search, they can now also emit explosive thermal energy as well as light.

You are probably right. Hasbro can only pass the buck so far. I'm sure the big retailers weren't demanding another iron fist in the final wave instead of northstar. How many iron spideys and dark hawkeyes do we need? Hasbro should have thrown the fans a bone and released a revision case with archangels, havok, solid vision, blade, firestar, etc.

I got my HTS MU order in today. I am bummed that I got A-bomb instead of Abomination, who was pictured when I placed my order:

At least the packages are in decent condition.

That's a nice mail haul! I'll keep an eye out for Abomination for you. I never saw A-bomb in store, but got lucky and found him on Amazon at regular price.

I have him and he's ok. I think there's a lot of people looking for him still. I believe he was only 1 per case.

I believe you should have no problem making a trade of ABomb in exchange for Abomination. Try around here, someone is still looking.

In terms of army-building quality, Frost Giants >>>> Dark Elves I would say
Not only frost giants are big, they also come in 3 different patterns. Blue, Ice-blue, and King Laufy.

I passed on a few of those dark elves when they first hit TRU. All i wanted was Kurse(which is a great and detailed figure).

I'm still looking for a Dark Elf if anyone has an extra.

Has anyone seen or heard anything on the Northstar figure?

I'm traveling to the US this weekend so if anyone wants something from my BST it will be cheaper because of lower shipping. You would just have to let me know by tonight.
