We keep all the weapons and accessories in a separate bin that way at least they won't get lost.

No, I really Don't have them. I will say this, I have seen both of them in person twice. On one occasion I offered the owner a ridiculous amount of money for them and it was obvious that he didn't want to sell them. In another occasion, I was negotiating a deal and the seller decided to back out. I will tell you this, I am very confident that I will own both of those figures one day and I say that very humbly and hoping I don't sound cocky. I just know where to look and where to find them. Somebody's going to give in sooner or later.

As someone who has wanted to collect all of the black Widows in this scale, it absolutely hurts that two (three in my personal experience) are pretty much impossible to get.
![]() Since I haven't seen any Winter Soldier line figures around here yet, I bought a few from China for cheaper than they would be in stores + free shipping. As luck would have it, the same seller also had a couple of the Iron Man 2 drones I'd been looking for.

I know who two are. I still can't figure out how many of those were made because the same ones have shown up more than once. It had to be a mere handful at best.

Yes, two of them (Arkers) where very vocal about it (and if you do a little search, you'll find some of their older post here). You know them for sure Ice... Even though I wasn't an Arker at the time, I would always be a visitor and read everything you older Akers would post (by older I mean longer time being members). The story is that a handful or two where produced, when they didn't go though as variants, they where given to some of their employees as it happens a lot.

Yup I can confirm with Raf I helped a former Hasbro emp and he had them. He would not sell them unless he needs the cash.

Production samples. I assume all the designers on the lines get sent one of everything produced.

Very true, and speaking of such, just yesterday I was on the phone negotiating with a former Mattel employee (production designer) and, well... lets just say that I'm going to reveal a figure to you guys that I was able to purchase from him that's going to get a lot of attention. All I can say for now is that it's DC of course and one of a kind. But I'll wait to receive it hopefully by Monday the latest and it'll be in the right thread for it my friends! Stay tuned because it's going to be amazing! I'll say that much.

Apparently people in Quebuc don't like Thor. Found this scene at Target.
Endcap by the toys ![]() More over in the clearance area. Didn't know any store ordered this hard. ![]() At least I know where all the Dark Elves are if they go on sale or clearance.

They are 10.99 right now plus 16% (I think) tax in Quebec. To ship like 4-5 of them loose in a bubble envelope would cost about $10. I can keep an eye out for clearance or a sale if you want. This place is like 40 minutes away from me so I'm not there much. This was actually my first time in that store.

Hahahaha that's gold. I've got about 3 ice cream buckets filled with weapons, extra heads, backpacks, and all that jazz.

That's an army builder fantasy you're showing us here, Iceman!
Maybe you'll meet them again in a ROSS next month? Price is 10.99$, but is it canadian $? As for the "would you open the short-haired Black Widow" I would have say yes, since I'm oblivious to all the variants and their market value. If I found her in my last year's Miami trip, I would have opened her and posting pics innocently here until I get the "WTF man!?" mandatory message ![]() I always open my figs, for display, and don't keep boxes since they take too much space. For example, I bought an Octopus Marvel Showdown in Japan for ~15$ and opened it right after taking a pic for the "what I got" thread.

My question is...will you ever sell your collection?
Or even parts of it? This is a healthy board for trades and sales but who do you collect for? Yourself as you are today? Your kids in the future? Yourself in the future? All of these things will become like tears in the rain maaaan! Touch those toys, go on, you know you want to! |

I'd never touch my toys because I would never open them! |

hahaha ukmu, nah bro i was just saying that after so long looking for solid vision, when i finally got it?i wasnt really all that impressed,it has nice colours and again a collection looks a little better with him in it.but thats just my view on vision,i aint happy unless im complaining about something here on the ark XD
btw ukmu did you bust him out of the packaging? with paul bethany playing vision in the Avengers movie, its kinda inevitable that they will release him in toy form.now if they release a different version, the original will still retain its "wantability" but mostly amongst Completionists.i feel bad for anyone that paid way over the odds for it,certainly doesnt justify the price tag some put on it. nice to see BAF groot on the way,GOTG line up will look awesome with him in it,i prefer groot in giant form. |
