I could see if that were the regular ol' Hulkbusters, 'cause some people love army builders, but jeezus, unless you're planning to make customs out the butt, or resell, you don't need that many Emils.

Going back to Yellowjacket, I found that if you want the full package (YJ + Ant-Man), the cheapest I saw it for on eBay is $15. That seemed to be an anomaly, though, because they normally ran for $20-40. However, if you don't mind the wait from China, you can get YJ alone for a fiver. Yep. I think Hasbro should've definitely given us Ant-Man with him again so people who missed out the first time won't have to pay out the butt for fuckin' Ant-Man.

I actually like the new cards better. Colour me a weirdo I guess. I like that they are all they same and no card art. Just looks more tidy to my eyes.

Good to see you in on this line Raf.... and VERY cool of you to hook up Prof at cost. Good karma coming your way. Always nice to see when we take care of each other.

I have seen the Sandman in a lot of 50 figures before from Sinodolls.

damn, anybody make protective bubbles that'll fit these new cards?
and if anyone needs a tiny ant-man get a Hero-clix and cut him loose.

Putting the existing MU stuff on clearance would be a great way to clear the pegs for the new figures and give the aisle a little pop.

Maybe while the stores are at it, they can ALL disable that annoying Mashers display (or at least the voice chip or IR sensor in it).

The cynical reason is so Hasbro could make the retailers treat it like a new toy line and have them invest in it again. But there are also other factors, like trying to tie it into the buzz around Avengers and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Also the new packaging looks different and anything new and different is more eye-catching to kids and collectors. I mean, let's face it: a lot of us tend to gloss over any MU figures that are still on the pegs now.

But it's not like this is some new strategy, either. Almost every long-running toy line goes through phases like this. Just look at Transformers, G.I. Joe and Star Wars as examples.

I would imagine there are some existing ones that would fit. Most are pretty generic and designed to work with figures from multiple different lines.

If not, give it enough time and I'm sure someone will make one.

Yes sir, When the DCUC changed to the new 75th anniversary packing (way larger in size) I wanted to die because when displayed in the shelf, they block the older & smaller cards.

I don't get why all the Hasbro collector targeted lines (SWB, MI, ML) are going to this plain black packaging, collectors love flashy card art, The art is half the reason I started collecting MOC, now I feel like I'm buying porn, what next brown paper bags?

Haha yeah I'm with you on the art there...the card art was great and the lil catch phrases as well. I was looking at my Aurora and realize it was Sleepwalker on there, I was like dang! Nice.

I feel like minimalist style has been "in" the past few years. I think that fits with the general population but when specifically thinking about toy collectors it's not as popular. Comics don't usual scream subtlety.

Finally, Hasbro makes a decent case assortment that refreshes Wasp. With the exception of wave 1 Hulk, all the wave 1 and wave 2 figures are in the wave 2 case:

Total awesomeness, eat that scalper's!!! Going to dump my first case of the singles now...debating on getting which one though hmm...that wave 2 case of all of them is such a better deal actually. Breaks down to a lil under 10 each, but not including shipping. But dang there's only 5 out of that 12 I would want haha dang it.

This is why I normally wait to see wave 2 case before I order wave 1. I'll just need o track down hulk which shouldn't be too hard. I'm sure the scalpers and people that paid 40 plus bucks for wasp won't be too happy though.

Well just my luck, when im at home I refresh Amazon and such every 10 minutes for nothing.
Go check my local stores for an hour, come back... gone.

FYI the Avengers figures with the lightup base are supposedly on clearance for $10 at TRU, but they all actually ring up $5 something.

Same here. Since Hulk was the only one not included from Wave 1 I just went ahead and purchased from BBTS for $12.99. The $1 or $2 bucks I would save finding it at retail isn't worth searching for it. Also, it may become the rare fig if it's not included with the future assortments.

you will get her Spectre.... I am sure of it. I (soon will) have an extra Wasp. I would offer her to you but £15 for her shipped and then £10 to ship her in MOC to the states would be £25 which is $40 so you would be no better off there!!!

I want some vehicles from the new line.... pretty sure that wont happen though.

If you could have a TOP FIVE of wanted vehicles.... what would they be?

mine...
Sky Cycle for HawkEye
Drop Ship for SKRULLS
A HYDRA tank of some sorts
better Quin Jet
SHIELD flying car

Whoa that's crazy, didn't realize Hulk wasn't even in that wave haha ugh:P Case assortments got to love them. Well I cancelled my first order with them and ordered the 2nd wave, but I don't think Hulk will sell out. If anything hopefully HTS gets the AI in soon.

Because Hasbro wants to save money on ink and only use black, and they also want to save money by not paying comic book artists for great pictures.
