I said this in the UK thread, but fyi; the back of the UK issue Marvel Infinite figures differ from the US release not just in the usual way (multiple languages, no figure bio), but also show Ionic Wonder Man as part of the wave! I don't think he is, but he's pictured on there.

Also, what kind of protective cases are the MOC people going to use now that the Marvel Infinite line has changed the box case size? I've checked the standard Star Case size, as well as those that kind of fit MU, and these new boxes are a total no go.

The answer to my question is why not??? So I humbly ask you...
WHY???

Yes, I want to know exactly why do you want it, why?? I want to know what VISION means to you, I want to know what your (MOC or Loose) collection is like without VISION? I want to humbly (don't be shy) know what you economic situation is? I want to know how hard it is for you to get VISION? ETC... Be creative, but most importantly, be honest!

Think about it, think hard. I will give you until Saturday, April 12, 2014 to tell me by either posting you answer here in these thread (which I prefer) or PM me your answer as a last resort but don't be shy to post it on this thread my friends!

I promise you I will read every post very carefully and when I am done, I will choose the best one of them all (there is no right or wrong answer my friends, be yourself and speak the truth) and the chosen one will be rewarded dearly...

Yes, the winner will get a brand spanking new Marvel Universe 3.75' Non-variant, original, number 006, series 2 VISION figure... FREE!!!
Why you ask? Because I freaking feel like it that's why! (plus I have 3, LMAO). Consider this your X-Mas in July (or in this case late March, Lol)

TWO RULES: 1) It is open to current TOYARK Members ONLY. No new TOYARK Members, (sorry, it's only fair). Only current existing member (and I know who you are). 2) If you already have one don't be that guy or gal and try to get another one. Help your ARKERS out and don't participate if you already have one please (and I know who's who because I read older posts my friends).

And here is your MOC VISION!...

The Rangers? The team with Texas Twister, shooting Star, Firebird, Red Wolf, etc?

I'm not sure if they're obscure but MU did provide the original roster of the Champions of LA (Iceman, Angel, Black Widow, Hercules, and Ghost Rider).

Hey raf....

Did you know that the UK MI line is different to the US MI line? The card backs are completely different. As far as I know, the figures and the placement of the figures in their bubble are the same. Just a card variant. I was only able to get Wasp on pre-order here and she was imported from US, so I have yet to see the variant. Thought you should know....

also on the obscure mote... my son wants to make a Two Gun Kid custom. That is a pretty odd and random Avenger for you! He is a walking avengerpedia at 8! Has a drawing of The Vision on the fridge right now and constantly 'studies' his Avengers Encyclopedia.

Yes, I believe it's always been like that even with MU. Here's the Silver Surfer's both International and USA card versions from the back.

Sooooo true! Because of the cancelled three packs and the vanishing Northstar it feels like MU ended on a real sour note.

Didn't Hasbro say they were re-branding to tie the line in with the success of the Avengers because retailers understood the brand better? Odd, because I couldn't see any indication of 'Avengers' anywhere on the 'Marvel infinite Series' packaging. All they've done is mention the Avengers in the characters blurb.

^Yeah I saw the new line at Target for the first time yesterday (broken record of course Wasp was gone) and the packaging doesn't say Avengers on the front, just "Marvel Infinite Series" odd. Yeah I really want a Valkyrie, let's get the good stuff for the 3.75" going Hasbro!

I wouldn't sweat not finding wasp the first time around, she's double packed in the next wave. money says she'll be peg warming in a couple months and when the supply goes up and the ebay price goes down the scalp-vultures will fly on to the next thing... I feel sorry for the guys who dropped like 40 and up on her.

looking at the card backs that Raph posted got me wondering if the fury files site was still up... and nope it just redirects you to Hasbro, that sucks, I think furyfiles is the first obsolete site to actually be taken down in internet history! and I never got around to checking it out! I feel slightly gyped!

Many sites created for purely promotional purposes (TV shows, games, movies, toylines, etc.) are only temporary, or if no one gets around to shutting them down they never operate quite like they used to.

i think, and it is just a thought of mine, that MAYBE Hasbro will release the 3.75 line at SDCC as MU with the old packaging. That way it adds to the legend that was marvel Universe. Instead of just putting out the figures MI, I could see them doing it MU for exclusives in the future for, perhaps even a long time.

On a related note, as far as I remember the figs from Space Jam shall be on par with MU in terms of size. I have to retrieve them next time I go to mom's house!

I have to say, I think the Infinite Wasp is probably my favorite female figure so far.... you can so many great poses out of her!

I was looking over my receipts recently from grocery shopping and I noticed that when I got Wasp from my HEB (local grocery) they only charged $2.50. I didn't even notice at checkout, had I noticed I would have picked up Grim Reaper and Hyperion too. The next week when I went back the only figures taken were the Hulks so I price-checked one and then they were back to $9.99. I picked up Hyperion at base price so I don't feel foolish, but it shows that if a product is new to your store and has no tag on the peg for price, get it checked you might stumble into a good deal.
