maybe we will see sharon carter too

I like that Con exclusives are just that...exclusive. I dont have many of them, but the ones I do have I really treasure. SDCC Red Skull and Maria Hill are just nice to look at. Crappy bodies and articulation...but just knowing that there are only a handful of them... I dont know, maybe Im a snob but I dig that.

I think Tigershark and Radioactive man will get single carded, probably slightly repainted versions like Zemo. Hasbro is never one to underutilize a mold. my guess is all the two pack characters, Silver Samurai, Quick silver, Wonderman, sabertooth, classic jean grey, the wrecking crew members, enchantress, Mr. sinister, Ect., will all get single card releases in some fashion. wait till they run out of ideas in the pipe. that or they'll pull an old school ToyBiz move and start repainting the same mold a hundred times and calling it a different character.

My thoughts exactly was going to say, they did do Single carded Zemo, hoping they do Agent Hill as well just cause having her in the SDCC Shield Helicarrier was nice and but dang took too much space. Had to get rid of it.

I don't get the Coulson love. Is it because you are trying to recreate the Avengers move look?

Coulson's a likeable character, he's that guy with nothing to bring to the fight. Coulson's kinda like what any of us could be to the Avengers and that's pretty neat. He also geeked out in front of Captain America, which I imagine anyone of us would.

I almost went ahead and pre-ordered the set but decided to wait for more pictures as I only need Omega red and Ant man. Wonder if any one would like to get rid of those from their set?

perfect ant man, valkyrie and cyclops.

I don't like that people think Valkyrie should be a giant woman though

Why get a Professor X and slap a GI Joe head on it.

Coulson is the biggest thing going for Marvel at the moment. The single character in ALL of the Marvel Studio movies (the highest earning franchise EVER) he is the star of Marvels only television programme, and he is the voice over narrator in Lego Marvel, the big game this past Christmas. He is the face of Marvel, as far as a human, non drawn faces goes. It is him and Stan Lee.

I don't recall seeing Coulson in the Incredible Hulk (or any phase 2 films, though I haven't seen Cap 2 yet, NO SPOILERS). Using Professor X and a GIJoe head works I suppose, I don't customize, and I definitely couldn't bring myself to scrap one of my favorite and harder to find MUs.

That's very lame. And it reminds me that you can't just peer into the pegs and look at the card backs to identify a figure, you have to fan through and probably knock half of them off anyway.

yeah that is lame, it is also lame that hasbro only makes limited versions of the "cool figures" so that unless you have an inside guy at Target you will not find any of the toys you are looking for like ever.

I like some rarity, it keeps collecting fun and relevant. if anyone could get any figure at any time no one would bother to collect. The pain of the occasional gouge is more than offset by the pleasure of the wild caught victory find.

I'd still collect, and it would make finding my favorite character's figures that much easier. I don't get these with the notion that one day they'll be worth a lot of money, I get them because I love Marvel comics and having toys of 'em is pretty cool. That's why I free all of my figures from their Magneto-Plastic-Prisons.

It does marvel and Hasbro no good to not sell a figure customers want. They're not making a dime from those baghead spideys I have to order from china. I would have gladly paid for another omega red, too. Retailers never saw my money, so Hasbro never got the extra order from retailers.

It makes no sense to me in the world of consumer choice, Hasbro chooses to pass up sales. Has anyone ever not been able to find a lego set? They restock retail, sell things in their own stores and online. Lego finds a way to make the sale 95% of the time and still has a hearty collector secondary market.

All Hasbro does is drive customers away by limiting their own product sales.

I disagree with this philosophy a bit , too, although I mean no disrespect. Do you know what my biggest thrill is? Seeing new toys. Adding to a team. Finding an obscure character whose series I read for a few issues 20 years ago.

It doesn't matter to me that I have something the next guy doesn't. I want the next guy to get what he wants. I want Hasbro to get that sale. I want them to keep making money so they will make more toys. They get money. I get joy. Yay 'merica!
