Those DC figures are seriously worth $5-6 dollars tops... bought the Batman figure from that line based on the early photos, and they completely did away with some of the articulation points. That and the fact that they're undersized compared to MU's makes that line an easy pass.

Just watched the new GotG trailer, so hyped for that! It looks like we might see Knowhere at around the 1:15 point.

with that being said will Nova or Iron man be in the movie or will it be just a mention? just trying to figure why they added them to the figure release if they aren't in the movie.

Iron man is so they can throw him into another toy wave and cash in. Nova is fan service, people actually want that toy.

Richard Rider isn't in the movie (that I know of), just Rhomann Dey (John C Reilly). Iron Man will not be in this film unless it's a cameo from Earth. The toys are being released similar to the previous Marvel legends, where some figure are comic based and not in the film (Carnage, Black Cat, Beetle, Baron Zemo, Red Skull,etc.). I'm actually really annoyed by the new Iron Man since it's just the recently released bleeding edge armor with a new head and shoulder bits, and Iron Man was hardly a member of the team more of a recurring guest role. Only figure I care about is Nova and the only other legend I have is Carnage, This post probably should've been in the other forum, so sorry if anyone's offended by its presence.

Nova Corps will be in the movie. And this movie may hint at them attempting to create a "space super soldier" that could lead to Richard Ryder or Sam Alexander Nova for the MCU later. (Sequels and spin offs.)

Nova is in the legends line because the Nova Corps are.
Ironman is in the legends line because that's his GOTG armor from his recent stint with the GOTG in their comic which allows hasbro to put a mainstay in that comic line too.

Many people want both. That's the GOTG Iron Man armor. Though kind of pointless without the rest of the comic team for him. But hey, there might be a sequel or future chances for those, so may as well start with the mainstay.

With GOTG being unproven as yet, hopefully more may come later. Right now it's the base movie team, a mainstay, and a fan favorite that's had lots of exposure recently since his Corps is in the film. Hopefully next GOTG movie, we may see more comic diversity and movie character coverage. Especially if the Thanos Avengers 3 or GOTG 2/Avengers 3 crossover stuff is coming up. There might be info Hasbro and Marvel are privy too that we are not as to why they balanced the figures the way they have and are waiting on box office returns to make sure that plan isn't going to be altered. We may see an actual 3.75'' line down the road too. It's a matter of timing and what is best for where and when.

I would hate them if they decided to use Sam instead of Richard. Sam at best doesn't immediately lose to Beta Ray Bill, Richard at best was Nova prime and killed Annihilus solo, he also held his own against the Silver Surfer including him getting one good punch in. Not that I don't like Sam as a character, but I think we'd all rather see the original on the silver screen and returning to the comics.

bummer there is no GotG 3.75" line!!! I still awaiting the "vehicles" for the new 2.5" small line. I remember it being said they were to make GIANT ships for the small line, hence the size to keep it affordable for parents and collectors. Come to think of it, I havnt seen much of the little guys lately either.....

That said.... was wave 2 MI dropped in the states yet? I have been seeing 'in hand' pics everywhere on FB, but I was thinking they were just from the recent Singapore release.

I don't think they're at retail anywhere here in the states yet.

Avengers Infinite 3.75" Figure Series 04 - Set of 4 - Marvel Figures (Hasbro) Avengers Infinite
Some GotG will be released in MI series but I'm guessing they will be same figures or simply repaints from multi pack released in 2011.

I believe someone mention these may be the repacks of the 3 packs that came out 2 years ago.

I would hope they do something new with Rocket if they're going to individually release those figures. Maybe include Cosmo too, otherwise it's just as bad as Puck: half the toy, all the price.

So my question of the day is , are they still planning on switching to X-Men stuff next year with the infinite line and if so what characters are you wanting ? I hope they give it some more time, I need Batroc and Executioner first

wel, we desperatly need more x villains. for heroes my priority is banshee, beast, and marvel girl to round out a more or less complete 1970s team. 80's kitty pride is secondary.

I still haven't heard or seen any MI wave 2 yet, so I'm just gonna stop talking about that until I do. As far as X-men figures go, I think they're probably still planning on using X-themed waves next year. However much like the current Avengers themed waves, any character from any theme of Marvel could show up. Omega Red is about to re-release in MI with Avengers stuff, and he's totally an X-men character. I'd like to see Holocaust, Rachel Grey (modern or war of kings), Stryfe, AoA Sunfire, and a new Magneto (classic update or AoA). I also hope for an Onslaught, but he's not strictly X-men.

Forge and Bishop would top of my list, Sasquatch with Wendigo remold closely behind and the required Brotherhood characters to compete this picture:

The Come See Toys website has already reviewed Red She-Hulk... so MI Wave 2 is out at least in Asia right now:

Come, See Toys: Marvel Avengers Infinite Series 3.75" Red She-Hulk

I certainly hope so. I'd also think alpha Flight would fit in better with X-Men related, so if Emma and Northstar don't get made for 2014 I'd say it's a sure bet that we'll see them in Wave 1 for 2015.

Follow by most likely candidates such as Sasquatch, Bishop and I think it'd make sense to have a Deathstrike and I think Viper could fit in as well (she could really be one that would be equally Avengers or X-Men though). Hopefully the movie will inspire them to release a Sunspot and Blink as well as I don't see us getting those two otherwise.

Are you referinng to the multiverse line? , $14.99 sounds like DC multiverse at TRU (some stores has it at $16.99). They actually had them at $8.99 when they first released and everyone else was charging $9.99. then they raised it $6. Walmart dropped it a buck to 8.9x but target is still at 9.99 the last time i checked which was a 2.5 months ago. I hate TRU's price gouging.

Yup, everywhere besides TRU is $10 and under.
For some reason TRU marked them up to $16 like a month after release.

I'm pretty sure they've dropped going with all Avengers. Any Marvel character is fair game.

My 4 year old was just saying we need more bad guys.
I went on a road trip, I saw pegs full of MU and MI figs, but no wasp of course. Now would be a good time to catch up though, my TRU had that last MU revision case.
