That's a sick looking sleepwalker thor! Is that one of those Star Wars Chinese aliens?

I saw xmen DOFP, good movie but it had a major inconsistency with the wolverine. I really wish they did a toyline for this movie... Need an MI bishop, and a fassbender magneto, and a JLaw mystique.

The claw inconsistency is probably covered under the 10+ year time gap between them. Logan probably had them repaired if he's fighting sentinels. There's also an inconsistency in the future timeline with X-Men 2 (since that's where the public and president first really hear about mutants in the original trilogy.) And there's another inconsistency with the opening mutant we're shown at the beginning of DOFP with who it looks they were trying to evoke. There's a lot of minor inconsistencies between the DOFP future timeline and the established X-Men trilogy timeline that raises questions. (Still a great movie though!)

The airport scene in the Wolverine to the rest of the future events of DOFP have a long gap between them too considering The Wolverine takes place nearly right after X-Men: The Last Stand where Kitty and Bobby are late teens(16-18) to the DOFP side where they are in their possibly mid to late 20s. The rest I can't say because of spoilers about the end of DOFP.

And yes, we need movie figures of that DOFP future side! Especially Blink! =D Wouldn't say no to the past side with Quicksilver either. Considering what the next X-Men movies could do now though... We might have to wait and see what they could bring out later.

Finally found the last MU wave at my local TRU, so I picked up Black Knight, Cloak, and Dagger. Didn't have everything I was looking for, but still good to finish MU here.

I just recently, like beginning of May/end of April, got Black Knight from one of our very own, aefranci. I am so impressed with him!!! Also just got my CUSTOM Valinor ( Black Knight's black horse with the bat like wings) this week from Psycho Pirate.... wow!!! Like he flew off a 70's comic page!!! So.nice!
Wait until my custom from thorodinson is finished, we have been talking about that for a few.weeks over two different sites.

New waves.of MI coming quickly and close together, SDCC around the corner, good times. I know people miss the MU name and no one really likes the black package, but I am glad they restarted the line. Seems fresher. Pretty sure we have seen the last of new moulds and tooling. Perhaps just reprints, repaints and kitbashes from here out. The VONNER era is gone. Time will tell. At least they didn't just stop making them though.

Funny note... the auto.correct on this tablet changed aefranci to PASTRAMI and thorodinson to THYROID. Next time I book a.table.I am going.to use Pastrami Thyroid as my name...... and tell them I am.a.retired 70's porn star with that name!!!

Sorry this WAS a double post page....
Figure I will turn it into something new, uplifting and positive.... too bad it's me writing though!

I really enjoy seeing the customs and drawings here in our thread. Nice seeing new faces as well. Cool seeing those Starfox and Nebula in hand shots before any other.site. I love pro quality shots but really like when regular people.take regular pics even better sometimes.
Finally saw the SDCC set thisnweek as well. Days of Future Past came out this weekend. GotG tiny terrors were seen for the first time this week. All in all, a good week for our MU family here.

I want Starfox and Nebula, hopefully I don't have to pay $75 for the whole set to get the two.

Baron Zemo was originally exclusive to the SDCC pack, and we got him single-carded eventually. So it is a possibility that either figure could be released again later, but don't put all your eggs into that basket.

That set looks phenomenal, and I'm sure there's no GI Joe/TF set this year to compete with my toy budget, so I'll be picking it up.

The price seems way too steep for a plastic glove, a statue and three repaints. I can't see the pricing mentality there other than 'exclusive'.

That said, I am a rare Starfox lover, so he's a must, but I'm also majorly letdown we didn't get someone like a Quasar to seal the deal. Come on Hasbro, the Infinity Gauntlet has 6 gems and you give us 4 figures - there was room for two more repaints surely?

A static statue, three reprints, anorak glove AND a large funky shaped.fully printed box. All joking aside, I would bet that the box was the most expensive bit of kit of the entire set.

They should have went for six and made it $99 even. (although that is an odd number) If you are gonna get screwed... might as well get kissed too.

This set looks horrible. I won't be picking it up but that's probably a good thing - more money for the Legends set (all second market of course, wish I could get to one of these conventions sometime)

Agree. There is always one or two figures that gets a mass release (typically a repaint) or was already available as a mass release (Invaders Cap and Namor, Zemo, Hellicarrier Cap, WW2 Cap) and some stay solely as an SDCC release (AoT Thor, Invaders Skull and Torch, Radioactive Man and Tigershark, Tobey Spidey, Maria Hill). Sadly I think Thanos falls in the former category and Starfox, Nebula, and lady Death fall in the latter.

I agree.... maybe they re-release them this time, but Zemo was an A list villain and these are D list heroes (Starfox and Nebula)

@Bmorr, thanks I will keep that in mind for sure.

To the discussion on single cards on Starfox/Nebula I'm not counting on it. Though I'd probably buy Nebula single carded but as the only thing in that set I'd even be remotely interested in, given she really looks not so well made it's not an incentive to spend that kind of money on it.

Now if they'd gone and made a Quasar or a Deathbird or Vulcan I'd have to reconsider. But well. what's done is done lol.

I might do the same... Or maybe I'll change my mind and get the whole set... The more I look at it the more I kinda want it.

At TRU on Friday they had that last MU wave, abomb, abomination, etc, I had them all so I passed. I stopped by yesterday and the only one left was nova. These things tend to sell really fast, at least in my area. I wonder why hasbro doesn't make the distribution more consistent. I've always wondered how much of a profit margin hasbro makes on a case of MU.

I think it's more TRU they don't order many cases of the MU for some reason.

I don't know if it's a TRU internal distribution thing, but I've asked a few times if, and when they were going to restock and they've said they had a couple cases ordered. the first time it took four months, the last time I asked was just after the first cloak/abomination case came out and they have not reset since, that must have been January! and no one at TRU knows anything about MI yet. sad sad sad...
