For muck mug Magneto, try what I did. You can remove the wash off of his face easily and not disturb his facial features though. I just watered down nail varnish remover and wiped with a small cotton swab. Try 50/50 at first, then apply and GENTLY rub and IMMEDIATELY rinse or dunk in water. Repeat several times and it will happen. Make sure he is dry before applying each time. Since it is just a "wash" it will come off before any paint apps do.

I love that Gravitron idea!!!! I am not even bothered if he is purple instead of blue to be honest. Just paint cape, swap heads, and stick the force things from Emporer Palpatine Star Wars line and I am calling him done!!! Maybe kitbash with a cheap Chinese figure in blue later, but the purple doesn't bother me as much as having to paint the figure. They just lose a lot of playability and posing when painted. At least for me they do.

Too funny..... (the thread is up on the home page)

Anyway, just was wondering if you guys have any scrunchies from the ladies in your life to take some MU pics like that.

I'm hesitant to recommend products because everyone does things a different way in this hobby, but Plastic Curves sells a factory paint remover that has been working fantastic for me. Rarely does it cause any visible damage like acetone can, even if you leave it on too long. Occasionally it leaves a deposit that can be sanded off easily with 1000 grit. I've become a believer.

I've never tried non-acetone fingernail polish remover. How does it work for you? This is essentially a diluted form of acetone:

Factory Paint Remover

It works pretty well for small areas but for large areas with thick paint it's a bit of a pain. If worked over a hard plastic surface for a longer period of time it might leave a sorta cracked ceramic look or that air bubble trapped within the surface of the plastic look. Dunno how to explain it. Also, wear gloves if using a rag and not like a Qtip unlike my dumb ass. Week or so of peeling and cracked skin is not rad.

And thanks man, I'll prolly put an order in to try at some point.

Paulcatraz has posted the story on the internet and two other collector sites... thought I would share with my Marvel 3.75" brothers here.

Originally you could get Starlord, Drax, Rocket, and accessory Groot for $20, now if you want all three it comes out to $30 plus tax. Only two of them are complete figures, if I didn't love Rocket as a character (a raccoon who kills clowns to save mental patients, that's awesome) I would probably hate his toy.

Maybe they will sell well. If the movie is a hit then maybe. The three pack was never available here in jolly ole England so it may do ok abroad if it can be found. Perhaps good news might be for customs...maybe.

Wonder Man is ok. Look good in a Masters of Evil group. Maybe get Emma and Executioner in wave 5?

I could see the line going online retailers only to be honest. No one.hardly sees them anyway.

With Cyclops and Valkyrie coming, Emma and Executioner can't be too far away.

I hope they update Emma's hands, though. Not a fan of the "hex hands" for characters like Dagger or Emma. I think a pair of Wasp's open hands would be great.

Nah, he only went total ionic form when he was an Avenger, besides the fact that he was only on the Master of Evil for one issue. I really like Wonder Man and I already have the comic pack figure, but I still might pick up the new one.

I think that the figure as we've seen it is how it would be released. The open hands work with Dagger since her main thing is throwing light, and kind of work for any psychic character since they rarely throw punches, though one hand being a fist would be nice variety.

Awesome, I love the Abomination (figure and character), not so keen on A-bomb (figure or character).
