I went $49. He went $50 with $ 3 shipping....The guy selling it had a ton of figures starting at .99 a few days ago. Beast, Varient Havok..and a few other gems.
Im soooooo close to being done its sickening very few left on my list of wants. Mainly X-men figures are left off the want list (thanks to the movies and the comics taking a decline over the last few years.....but mainly the movies)
Last bit to be happy:Spider -Woman Black
Savage Frost Giant
Firestar
SHS Beast
Varient Havok
Minus these any random pickups are out of greed lol
I already got wave 3 coming ...so close and yet sooooo far lol

I got a SHS beast a couple months ago Ebay for 36$ MIP it was probably the score of my collecting carrier, but the 3.99 KB toys price sticker did burn a bit. my suggestion is to search "Beast marvel" in action figures (don't specify SHS or MU) and brose, it might take a bit but someone will put one up not knowing what it is and they often go fairly cheep... compared to what they usually go for.

Super Hero Showdown, a Toy Biz Legends-era of 3.75" Marvel action figures. The pre-date MU by a couple of years or so.

I was hoping it wasn't that.

I know a dude who says he has some Showdown stuff available for sale. I'm not interested in it but I can ask him to get me a list if anybody is looking. He's got decent prices on his stuff most of the time. I know that figs can be hard to find sometimes.

Only thing is he's take a good while to get the deal done but he's reliable in the end.

^awesome! the showdown figures are filling the hole in my life left by the empty (of cool 3.75) shelves of every store. so far I've got Venom, Thor, Doc oc, Juggernaut, and Blue beast. I did get a loose spider sense spidey, but he's... got issues. I'm not going compleationist on the SHS figures, just filling n MU gaps, or getting SHS figs that look better than the MU counterpart. I've been eyeballing the Magneto/ Colossus two pack. if anyone's got it let me know what you think of them.

The Iron Man2 box set was available here for under a tenner. It was a shelf warmer forever. It was at TK MAXX(UK version of TJ MAXX-they always change.things here, don't know why...but like 30%of everything across the board is different, the TK/TJ name) Most of the one's floating around came from here. I saw several before but didn't collect then...DOH!
Nooooo it didn't shelf warm! It only ever appeared at TK Maxx in very limited numbers, then as soon as collectors got wind they all vanished overnight and appeared on ebay for five times the price.

So you know how much I bought mine for. I miss KB Toys.

Only wave one was known as Super Hero Showdown.
The next ones were re-named Marvel Legends Showdown.
Let's just call them Showdown.
