New Marvel 3.75" Appreciation Thread

Wow... that was like a cooking programme on tv. When they put it in the oven and pull one out and say,"here's one I made earlier."

Looks good as always. When you gonna send me some pencils for me to ink?

Yeah, Darkhawk is now on my short list!!! He is on our Avengers poster, so we have t get him. Also, I will think of my mate En Sabah every time I see him!

Tomorrow is our first FRIDAY FATHER AND SON CUSTOMIZATION NIGHT... got a Gravitron will be making together. The boy is going to dry brush some dinosaurs, he has been watching YouTube's dry brushing videos for days. Also some some sculpting epoxy to sculpt Jocasta's head. Putting her on an Invisible Woman FF buck.

New to the whole customization game, but ain't skeered. Did a kitbash Bark von Strucker and full body paint Madame Hydra back at Christmas

Arachne is one of my favourites!!! Just recently got her from Psycho Pirate and am very impressed. I love black and white anything, so is a winner to me. Maybe I will put her next to Maria Hill....

EMH is amazing I'm on episode two. It's so nice on HD. My old xmen animated series I recently got seems to old compared to this

That is a great pose Noodle!!!! Looks like a rock God in a meaty solo laying down some licks! (Insert guitar riff like in Bill and Ted's)

Also I see your paints back there. Nice and tidy, looks good. I love Ares face.... the all white pupils have SO much character!!!

I read that Vort's kit is a Colosus arm cast in brown. Apparently, the holes dont match up so tooling is required. I'm not bothered about the removable helmet, but an arm you don't have to paint and that sword is worth the money.

I have GOT to get that Starfox... driving me crazy seeing others get him BEFORE he has been released!!!! I am not interested in the rest of the SDCC 3.75" Marvel set, but Starfox.... need some Eros in the Avengers section!

I love that Hulk head! I put it on the AA Hulk as my main Hulk.

Well, total for figure + shipping to Czech Republic + agent fees was roughly 17USD, I guess it would be similar when shipping to U.S.

Unfortunatelly not when I checked today. They restocked him several times one by one, but AFAIK they stopped doing it a few weeks ago.

Targets got wave 1 again. Not one retailer has got wave 2 or 3

Painting up customs tonight while watching the footy!!!

Jocasta.... silver PIGMENT INK over solid white FUTURE FOUNDATION SUE RICHARDS, so much better than paint! Also, using a high end VERY expensive SABLE brush to apply it.... like any painter will tell you (fine artist or commercial residential) it IS all in the quality of your brush. About to sculpt the head now...

Also, doing GRAVITRON (silver age) and he is looking very clean so far. Wish I could post pics.... soon though. Almost done with him.

Ok, discussion time. You know how we've all talked endlessly about what is the best MU figure? We'll after 200+ figures and 28 waves later(including MI), i think we should have a debate on what is the best WAVE. Here's a pic to get us started. On the left is wave 19, the baghead wave. Up until now this was my favorite wave ever since the pic from SDCC in 2012 were released. On the right of course is MI wave 3. I am tied with these two for my favorite wave.
