Waves 5,8,9 &12 were pretty good.
But as far as every figure...it has to go to these two

I gotta go with wave 19: Kang (personal favorite Avengers villain), Scarlet Witch (favorite female Avenger), Punisher (no justification needed), She-Hulk (demanded fan favorite), and paper bag Spider-Man (highly sought after costume), the only figure I didn't care for was the FF Spider-Man and that's purely an aesthetic dislike.
I really like the variety of characters in MI wave 3, but not all of the characters themselves are particular favorites of mine. I like Deathlok quite a bit (favorite inspiration for the Borg), Ares is a warrior god, and Ant-Man created the Avengers (favorite guy named Pym?), but then I don't care for Valkyrie (nothing against her I just don't want the figure), and I generally don't like Cyclops (a rant for another post which I'm sure would offend someone). I suppose my point is I won't be losing sleep if I miss out on these figures.

Red Skull technically died in the 60s (not 100% sure it was the 60s), but he is constantly cloned and has his brain body-swapped by Arnim Zola. Heinrich Zemo was active during WWII and was kept relatively young via a serum he created using his genius scientific mind, however he then causes his own death via avalanche. The main Zemo and one most commonly referenced to is actually his son, Helmut Zemo, who isn't as scientific as his father, but is practically unrivaled as a tactician and criminal mastermind. Helmut Zemo has reduced aging via his father, but also gains youth from various artifacts and schemes, one time resulting in Helmut gaining enough power that he killed Genis-Vell in one on one combat.

Not knocking your opinion, but aren't you more so basing it off of if you like the character in media, more so than if the actual figures likeness and sculpt are good ?
Just asking ...

I was at an LCS today and picked up a Bi-Beast for $10, I know this isn't a BST thread, but I thought I'd ask you all if he fits in with MU/MI figs. I also long ago ebayed an Ironclad for about the same. Do they work in 3.75"? I am solidly in ML, these guys don't work for me lol

Honestly, yes, yes I am. To be fair the pose/sculpt hasn't really upgraded in quite a while, and judging likeness is almost futile when regarding a comic character. Every figure has roughly the same pose now just on varying bucks (based on size and gender), so that quality doesn't count in for me. For me liking a character counts for a lot when I consider liking figures. That's why I like wave 19 more.

That's a figure I really liked but most people seem to trash. He looks right and reminds me of the X-Men animated version toy I had as a kid (which I loved). It's just a repaint of a XMO figure with a different head. It's a fun figure to set up with Maverick and Deadpool. I guess Cable and Deathlok fit as well.

He looks good. Is he supposed to come with accessories other than the m16

love your 4th of July pics guys!

my pick would go to a wave that was ALL obscure figures. A wave I don't think they would have the balls to match today...

WAVE 4:
Moon Knight
Union Jack
Blade
Red Hulk
Hobgoblin

MUw19 and MIw3 were great BUT both had repacks and how many times have we gotten Punisher and Cyclops?

So I have a question ???? Now that wave 3 is out and most of us have them or they are on the way.....And wave 4 is a stinker...What will you be doing while we wait for SDCC and news if any on wave 5 and beyond ? Filling holes ? ...Spending the money on wives and gf's (lol) , customs...what ? what do you have left to satisfy you with your collection currently ?
Me .I have
14'' Frost Giant
SHS Beast (in the works)
Firestar
Red She Hulk
and maybe Havok (old skool)

I have a great appreciation for this wave. This is the wave that got me into MU because they made my favorite character (Moon Knight), and so relatively early in the line. Unfortunately Moon Knight is the only figure from this wave that I picked up, looking on it now I should have also grabbed Hobgoblin and Blade. Live and learn.

This'll be a good period for me to catch up on NECA figures and save otherwise. Hopefully SDCC will reveal some noteworthy new figures, and if not then maybe the line will continue and we'll just have to wait for it to return to the way it was.

Have you tried finding this comic pack? Slightly different Hawkeye and Piledriver for him to beat on.

If not, there's probably someone here who has at least one extra Hawkeye.

if you can find the team pack for $15 your best bet would be to buy it and sell or trade Mockingbird.

Honestly, 15 for that 3 pack isn't bad. I imagine Hawkeye by himself is around 10+shipping

I knew En Sabah would dig that wave because of Moonie.

@samsson... We have been playing catch up for 18 months, and after getting WonderMan this week, and SHS Beast just today...I feel like we can chill for a bit! I do have a pre-ordered GIANT Godzilla (36"long X 24"tall) I will have to pay for soon. Customs are the answer to the long dry time. The 4 females (Moondragon, Jocasta, Tigra and Gamora) are in works now, still awaiting some parts, just time and money. The only male custom for the summer (Gravitron) is almost done now. Still have some custom vehicles (HYDRA of coarse) to finish up as well. Also working out some COMMISSIONED CUSTOMS as well.

@mostwanted...gab that set and trade Mockingbird, she is a cool figure by the way and a key Avenger... so maybe keep her.
