Yeah I have to agree. If they decided to follow up Wolverine and the X-Men with the current style of Marvel Animation (stupid humor and lame episodic stories) it would be a disservice to what made WatX great (darker tone with a great season-long overarching plot).

Yeah AA is such a disservice, to EMH. Its insulting how dumbed -down these shows are.As a parent I watch these shows(my kids wont watch AA); I'm like do they think peoples kids are this dumb that they cant follow intelligent story lines to actually enjoy EMH and the above mentioned (good shows). The potty humor is offensive and it goes across the board (Agents of Smash, constanly uses it, AA and Ultimate Spiderman(although in this case I get it with them being teenagers)Its like give our education system and kids a lil more credit. smh

EMH was in progress when Disney bought Marvel. Disney then wanted to bring their "creative vision to fruition" by releasing what they thought, was a show that would have a broader target range. From what I could gather, they thought EMH was too story line driven and tied to the classic comic story. I guess they wanted to do whatever whenever sort of show... sad.

The way the characters are portrayed is so annoying. Stark is overdone(try way to hard to make him RDJ) Cap is generic (you feel no conviction) How many times can you do the Hulk punches someone from the side gag, Falcon is in high school (smh),Thor is powered down in a way and you dont feel the awwww crap its Thor that you feel from the EMH version who in my opinion put Thor in a whole new light and made me really like him. Widow is...Im not sure what they did to Widow, the closet one to getting right was Hawkeye.

Well having just watched to rest of the AA season...the tease for the next season looks to follow along the movie line. Fitting conclusion to the first season and migration to the next...if they bring it back. I prefer EMH but this will do since its all we get...as for the HaTAoS...getting rid of AzzBomb would go a long way toward me feeling something about this show. Not sure who watches TMNT but with Seth Green(AzzBomb) taking over voice duty to Jason Biggs next season..i fear the quality of this may soon drop as well....Bring back Young Justice or Justice League or green lantern...I know wishful thinking

Smash is just lame. I was looking forward to a show all about the Hulks until I watched the first couple of episodes. Wow is that was a waste of time.

I read that about TMNT. Makes no sense why they didn't just keep the guy they got to stand in for Biggs in the last few episodes of season two. But just because they're bringing in Seth Green doesn't mean the quality of the show should drop. It's just a change in voice.

And no DC cartoon that's not Teen Titans GO! will survive as long as it's on CN. It's pretty obvious they don't want to push an action cartoon for kids anymore. I while back I read that Bruce Timm is going to make a new JL cartoon (or at least I think it was JL) but with the way things have been going I don't see it fairing well. Look at Beware the Batman. They stuck it on Toonami at 2:30 am just to air the second half of the fist season. I've seen some of those episodes and man did that show start getting good.

I find the writing in TMNT to be pretty solid so yeah a voice actor change shouldn't do too much. I figure Green knows what's expected so I figure he'll be fine in the role. Just a shame they had to recast in the first place since I dig consistency in voice actors unless it's near identical or the original actor died.

Now I could ramble on about how much I disagreed with different networks ending shows prematurely or forcing them to wrap it up, and we all have valid points. That being said, let's not get too off topic here, there's a reason this is called the "New" Marvel 3.75" etc.

Bringin' some humor with the sketch this time.
He did get a full body suit to begin with, and a helmet. But he kept ripping it off for fights, and rather quickly evolved to just the shorts.

Indeed, my sketch was a riff on his sometimes "costume" which thankfully is not the norm for all of his figures (though they have used it).

so I think I'm kinda pissed today... My daughter loves the TMNT show, she's only 2 but I decided buy her a turtle figure (Raph), she loved it, so decided to start her a collection. being se to the MU hunt I figured it would be a fun way for us to bond, hunting figures, playing with her, and watching the show like I did as a kid. within 2 Wal-Mart's we literally found every one of them! Hasbro, call Playmates, offer their distro guy a damn job NOW!!!!

Yeah say what you want about some of Playmates' figures but at least you have easy access to them. I love the TMNT line btw.

Been a while since I've poked my head in here so I present one of my favorite Marvel Team-Ups:

Maybe it's because there are only so many TMNT characters, the 4 titular heroes, Splinter, Shredder, Krang, Foot ninja, and a handful of other supporting cast. Then you have untold numbers of Marvel characters to choose from and you want to try and pick those that will sell (Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America, Wolverine, etc.). I imagine that there are probably a lot of the main 4 turtles figures just like we see a lot of the main Marvel characters. This one may not be entirely Hasbro's fault, but that Playmates has less on their plate to market.

I'm assuming since it is impossible to find any AA figures that they will be dumped. However I still see the crappy 5 pos (yes I mean "s") ones.
The good thing is we got the Leader. So what about the other villains? I would like an Attuma, Dracula, & MODOK. I'm sure some people may want an Iron Skull.

Plus where the heck is Namor? One would think he would show up eventually on the show.

Had the same dilemma. Kept the IM2 one since I dig the colors and shading.

I'm trying to do a comic look. I think the box set one looks like the old school comic? I might keep both. They look good

Yeah, the 3 pack one has more of the contrasted black and white comic look. Totally keep both

I would buy Dracula and MODOK on sight. Sadly the only place I've seen the real AA figures is TRU. Everywhere else has the crappy ones. Especially Target. Seems like that's all the Marvel figures they ever have (in 3.75 scale). Oh and they have the ever craptastic ASM2 line.

In fairness to the second season Disney came in mid production and told them they wanted it dumbed down and to abandon the long story arcs. You can see the difference after the first 10 episodes or so.

Why not keep both, especially since it's an armor based character it will be easy to explain two figures. One's remote controlled or just empty, or a bad guy has it, or whatever you want.
