Joe Quesada will be revealing a new comic on tonight's Colbert Report, and Stephen was in Amazing Spider-Man #573 as a guest character. Who else wants a figure of Stephen Colbert now?! Jon Stewart got an exclusive stormtrooper figure, so why not a Stephen Colbert head on Professor-X's body with a Cap'n America shield. That is an exclusive I would definitely get.

So my SHS Beast showed up today and I don't know who is happier, me or Wonderman ! Such a sweet figure, paint app is really good an I might be the only person who likes the mouth open on him. It reminds me of him laughing with Wonderman.
Also I picked this up ...Papo Grizzly Bear Figure | eBay
it goes great with the super soviets as ussr major

I like that idea. It'd be an interesting parallel to what Loki went through and would let Thor experience first hand what women go through daily.

Also, TWO PACK. TWO PACK! Cannon gender swapped Asgard bros two pack!

This is more a beta ray bill type thing, were someone is getting augmented with thors ability. Mulgnir only enhances Thor inables him to fly , open portals and help direct his power. If I can recall he can control lightning without his mighty hammer
Thor's strength and abilities don't all come from the hammer, but the hammer grants all of them due to the inscribed incantation.

"Whosoever holds this hammer, if they be worthy, shall inherit and possess the power of Thor."

So anything Thor himself has naturally or via the Hammer anyone worthy who lift it also get.

Anybody remember that time when Wonder Man used Mjolnir and almost destroyed the universe? I don't remember exactly why he did it, but he was apparently justified since he could still use Mjolnir.

LCS had the wave 3 of MI for $12 each (well Valkyrie for $14) - got all four new figures and ended up spending less than I would have with BBTS- canceled preorder. Not a bad find!

Wow his head looks better than the blue SHS figure, plus he's Dark Beast so he adds to the villain roster (for those not in the know, Dark Beast is Beast from the Age of Apocalypse where he is instead an evil genius). I actually quite like the Beast from MU, even though it's his Astonishing "cat man" look, I don't mind that look and he has decent paint and good pose.

Well, now Falcon is the new Captain America

You know, I'm beginning to think that Hasbro will actually make figures of the new Thor Woman and Falcon Cap

I can see them use the Valkyrie Mold and new head sculpt for the new Thor and a Marvel Now Cap Mold with wings and new head sculpt for Falcon Cap and there you have them

As a recent recipient of SHS Beast (got him last week from fellow UK arker TheLongestDay) I gotta say HOW IMPRESSIVE he is in hand. Perfect articulation and that stupid face looks good when it is so tiny in your hand. After only seeing close up pics, I was pleasantly surprised!!! He is worth every penny.....

I got back into MU when I saw Omega Red for super cheap. He and Psylocke were my first purchases and then I scored Storm from a forum member. Storm was the only figure I wanted from the 6 pack and I saved myself a ton of money and duplicate figures down the line. Psyched on these and on the lookout for any X Men stuff.

This has been shown for a while now from the cover previews for upcoming issues, just like Thor with a metal arm and Jarnbjorn. It's not Falcon in Cap's colors, it's Falcon as Cap'n so I doubt he'll be using the wings. This'll probably all last about as long or shorter than Bucky's stint as Cap. I also doubt we're going to see toys of these, just based on Hasbro's "what will sell to our market audience" plan. Not a bad market plan, but I doubt kids will want Fem-Thor or FalCap, new unfamiliar designs on iconic characters. I think the Superior Iron Man has more chance of a toy via quick repaint. Also if you didn't know, now he's The Superior Iron Man.

I think that Omega Red figure alone sent MU out with a bang, one of the line's best (at least I think so) and right at the end. Good to know that he's repacked into MI for anyone who missed out on the first chance.

Superior Iron Man? What, is he brain-swapped with Otto now?

So with the advent of Big Hero 6 getting a 4" line (from Bandai of all people), anybody here looking to grab those figures for their shelves?

I'd have to see them first. Bandai is sometimes rather hit or miss with their figures.

Big Hero 6 barely being in the normal 616 universe also makes it an easier skip. The movie looks like it'll be fun though!

As for Superior Ironman. It's not supposed to be a brainwashed or mind swapped Tony, but it is allegedly an Ironman that's going to be overtly arrogant and hard to like.

Yeah I know, Marvel spoiled that in the Avengers #35 cover last month, and I actually think that he will use his wings beacuse of the cover of All New Captain America #1 but who knows?
Im with you on the Fem-Thor and Falcap figures argument
And I just arrive at home and see the Superior Iron Man thing so yeah, I can see Hasbro use the Heroic Age Iron Man (AGAIN!!) with a White repaint to be the new armor

Anyone ..feeling a lil let down right now....With very few things left on my list of wants (actual made figures) I'm feeling a let down coming on, I'm hoping that Con gives us some great news, but I'm not feeling hopeful...it being Hasbro..Anyone else feeling this way ?

Me too, after the wave 4 reveal my hopes for the MI line hit the ground really hard, it all depends of what they'll show in Comic Con

I absolutely hated him and Reed Richards in that and probably will continue to do so in the comics realm because of it.

I wouldn't call it an argument, it's just that we all have our opinions of the matter. I feel like the Superior Iron Man more closely resembles his Extremis armor, but with a circular chest plate now.

Yeah, if it weren't for other toy companies continuing awesome work, I'd be left cold in the toy collecting part of my life. I even feel now like if I don't get any new Marvel figures, that would be okay, and I still haven't seen Death's Head's wave yet. I try to look on the bright side of it, maybe with the lack of Marvel spending I can get some more expensive stuff from other companies.

See, to me Tony has always been arrogant and egocentric. But in Civil War he upgraded to asshole.

Having said that, I wouldn't mind getting a Superior IM toy at some point. I've always liked his different-coloured armours. It adds a little variety to my shelves.

Agreed.

Also I recall that, and this may have been misinterpretation, Loki is Hel's (Hela in the comics) father and her mother was a wolf. Possibly a misinterpretation, but then again it doesn't sound too crazy for Norse mythology.
In Norse myth, Hel is the daughter of Loki and Angrboda (a Frost Giantess) and the wolf is her brother Fenrir.

But for whatever reason, in Marvel Comics Loki is not Hela's father.

...that would make a hilarious spoof of Maury Povich, btw.

I recall that all of Angrboda's other children are all wolves (excluding Jormungandr who is a serpent and Thor's killer) so some people interpret Angrboda as a giant wolf/witch/giantess. The poems are ancient and fancifully worded allowing some space for pondering, either way let's drop the Norse mythology and return to toys. My local Wal-Mart stocked up on GotG, which is great because now I have Nova, but alas I weep. They have struck the pegs of 4" Marvel, leaving naught but legends and 5POAs, sad times indeed. Thor guide us on this, his day of the week.
