I will start..... I nominate Extremis Iron Man to the ice bucket challenge. Some one take a pic of that figure in or getting ice water over it and then they can call out three figures to be challenged!!!! Let the game begin.....

...I am Groot... Translation: That's a great idea, personally I would never do that ice water bucket challenge, I don't want to end up in a hospital with Pneumonia, Lol, I rather just donate money, but action figures can take the cold.

Why is it that no one who does the ice bucket thing actually ever remembers what it's for? Most people just do it and dare their friends to do it, completely leaving out the point of donating money to the charity.

I can't speak for everyone else but I do know exactly what it's for. The reason why I think is a good idea is because maybe for every photo we post here (action figures doing the ice bucket challenge) we can donate money to the ALS Foundation... Can maybe Trebleshot or Joe Moore set this up with a Paypal account??

As the guy from ROBOCOP said... I'd buy that for a dollar!!!! I am in for $5. Good idea, maybe we could help someone instead of complaining about Hasbro for a week.

"Bitches leave" "Thank you for your cooperation" "Dead or alive, you're coming with me" It's a wonderfully quotable film, and one of my favorites.

if you have ever gotten to drop a "Dead or alive your coming with me" in your normal day to day conversation you're either a bad ass or a rapist.

				 | Quote: On quoting ROBOCOP.... I was always partial to the one word... CREEP. Has to be in his cheesy robot voice too. So someone take a goddamn picture of one of those three figures in/with ice water and donate a dollar already. And don't forget to call out three nominations. I know this is silly, but it could be fun...... give it a go.

I gave up on Target and got wave 3 from Dorkside toys instead. Valkyrie is very nice. Omega Red's harness is on backwards. I can't remember if the MU version was also backwards. Or did I get an error version? In any case I'm not keeping him since I already got him ages ago. |

I stopped by Burlington coat factory and was surprised to see (especially on a Sunday night) single carded MU thanos, gray hulk ($5) , and thor 2 figs ($6). Anybody wanting to fill out their collection on the cheap may want to swing by. I think it's safe to say hasbro has gotten every penny they can out of thanos in this scale. The last thing I need for my collection is another thor, thanos, or hulk. Almost picked up thor for the helmeted head and lightning mjolnir.

Here's a link to the Halloween Spooktacular section, where I took 51 of the more Halloween specific items, and reduced the price by $1, so the $4 heads are now $3, if an item was $2 it's now $1 through the 25th of October. So get those Halloween custom part orders in so you won't be rushing around looking for the parts you need for that spooky, or kooky custom at the very last minute. Halloween Spooktacular |

Seeing the 3 Thanos figures together is pretty clear: the original Thanos is sad and has a face that says "even I know this isn't really me." The only gripe I have with the SDCC Thanos (and this is really nitpicking) is the lack of armpit stripes. Those are minor details that aren't even always in the comics anyway so that's a very small gripe at most. The very original doesn't even have the torso stripe, it's like whoever designed the figure and what not didn't even look at the box art (which I imagine was seen along with the figure before final production). Enough ranting about an old figure that has been redeemed (twice now). A walkman, well I don't have one (sorry), I guess it's more for the retro-feel than practical use. Portable music players have only gotten better over time, they're not like record players (or phonographs if'n yer fancy) where the sound is "richer." Even cheaper modern headphones and players are likely to sound a tad better than a walkman, but if a walkman is what you're looking for you probably shouldn't go to Ebay, the movie has given the walkman a huge nostalgia boost so that's likely to be frustrating.

So after months of no new MI 3.75's on the shelf at my local Target, they finally restocked... with a whole bunch of wave 1 figures. WTF are they still distributing this wave? Yay for another round of Caps and Iron Man's sitting on the peg again. Pfft.
