That was such a stupid death for Abomination/introduction for such a lame character. Red Hulk has barely gotten better with time but still feels lazy and gimmicky. As was inevitable, Abomination has come back recently to do battle with his purple-short clad nemesis. The only character deaths that last are characters made to die (Batman's parents, Uncle Ben, etc.) and characters nobody cared for (Asbestos Lady, etc.). Captain Marvel is a rare exception, I feel he stays dead: one to keep what was such an amazingly well done death, and two because bringing him back defeats the point of his death. Mar-Vell died showing that even super heroes can't escape cancer, bringing him back full-time would be a huge middle finger to the sobering message of his passing.

My biggest gripe with someone coming back from the dead is with Joss Whedon and the Astonishing X-men. I was SO PISSED when he brought Colossus back. Colossus had such a meaningful death. Saving his sister and curing the Legacy Virus for all mutants at the cost of his own life. Then he gets brought back in some half ass alien abduction story?? Between this and Whedons arc on Runaways, I had a bad Joss taste for a while.

Taskmaster is never random :-P

And nice repaint/reuse of the old Marvel Secret Wars base (Dr. Doom's I believe). I used to have that building.

We have it, it is great! Secret Wars Tower Of Doom, mattel 1984 i believe? Bought it boxed from a guy in Spain for like £8 shipped, never was even opened! It is our Skrull 'base' as it seems 'spacey' to me. Plus just about everyone else has a playset already in ours.

This is my X-men Hanger section. I have way too many X-Men from past, present and future on top and since we are starting to see many of the astonishing people I went ahead a let them rock out by the "Blackbird". I have plenty of room to grow there so hopefully we will see Emma sooner than later. There are a handful of figures that are really hard to place with everyone else in my eyes. Taskmaster, Moon Knight, Beta Ray Bill, Gladiator, Punisher, and Blade.

That is the Doom Tower, I went to a toy con here in Indy and was about to leave when I saw it in a bin with a ton of other broken items. I pulled it out and told the guy I would give him $5 and he took it. It is missing almost everything and I had to break the door mechanism to get it to look somewhat complete. I went with a metalic Blue paint job as the original was pretty scratched up and faded. Plus nothing says X-men like metalic blue, Am I right?!?

WW Hulk doesn't have a home either, but I have plans to make a coliseum for him, Korg, possibly Beta Ray Bill, and an eventual Savage Silver Surfer custom.

Put taskmaster with A.I.M
Moonknight with west coast avengers
I have punisher with cage, iron fist, daredevil and Electra fighting the hand, silver samurai and bullseye.. moonknight would fit in this also
Blade is the only one I also scratch my head
Oh yeah gladiator and beta ray ..cosmic trashing skulls or getting trashed by thanos

That tower looks real good, fits nicely. Need to drop Storm, single card Colossus and blue outfit Angel down there too.

Moon Knight, Punisher, and Blade can all be part of a street-hero themed set up with Spider-Man, Daredevil, etc. fighting the Hand or just a variety of street-villains (pretty much all of Spider-Man's villains count).

No, they just had the 5 figures in the Thor 2 line

Those dark elves are nice. I'm hoping I can find some.
