Damn, I need a Wonderman (non-ionic) and a Mockingbird, and a Ms Marvel really bad!!

On a side note, as I wrote several months ago, the wave 1 of MI is widely available in France's Tosyrus and several supermarkets... but believe me or not, Grim Reaper and Wasp are the Peg Warmers!!
Cap Hulk and IronMan, can't find them!
I'm sure that the uneducated kids buy these 3 and are not interested in the less-known characters...

That's where all the Wasps are. Seriously I've seen the figures in enough places now at this point except I have yet to see her at retail. And anything past Wave 1....not a peep at regular retail.

Have you seen anything past wave 1 yet at all?

^ You know I'm desperate for some comic colored Hydra attack troopers (I can't even get 1). Respond to my PM if interested. I have that secret wars 2 pack Dr. Doom, for some reason I have all of the dooms in this scale I think (VVD digital sub, showdown, single carded, secret wars 2 pack).

Finally got around to painting the Norman Osborn head I got from KDubious. Really like how it turned out, especially the hair. Also got in Wonderman and I'm very impressed with the quality of the plastic. The past 3 I've opened: Ares, Antman and Wonderman have all been very good quality plastic compared to every other figure in the MI line. I hope that's a good sign that quality isn't on a constant decrease.

Went to TRU yesterday, they had 6 Wasp figures, until last night I had yet to see her in the wild. Would have been pretty excited if the day before the one I finally ordered on Ebay came in.

Fall used to be the greatest time for MU releases. My LCS would get a new wave in basically every other month in anticipation for the first quarter dry spell. That same LCS hasn't gotten in a shipment since wave 18 i believe. No MI ever showed up.

It's not been that long since the last wave hit, the problem is that the last wave was just repacks and the ionic WM. That makes it seem a LOT longer.

plus it depends on your definition of "hit". The wasp wave was the last to hit retail that I know of. so basically the casual collector, young fan, or anyone who doesn't keep abreast of the line like we here do probably doesn't even know they exist! I'm willing to bet that the majority of people who have ever bought a MU/MI figure can't name every figure in the line, and don't keep up with what's coming out next year. This has to be hurting there sales, (also the fact they just aren't putting anything on shelves in most stores).

Good points all of them. It's like the MI line was DOA on major retail. That's part of the reason I wish they'd just go the collector subscription route at this point. It would at least have a better chance to extend the life of the line.

Haha yeah we won't see any of the new stuff until next year and even so probably won't hit till Spring the way they've been pushing them out. The folks who bought most of the newest MI figures most likely got them online which helps with keeping up. I don't mind the slowness though. Saves me $. But at least the line is still there...The legends line seems to be slowing down as well.
