I know it's an uphill battle, but if we don't believe that it can happen then all hope truly is lost. Where would we collectors be if we gave up every time companies let us down? It is through perseverance and commitment that we seize the victory of purchasing our plastic goods. To question whether Hasbro will return to 3.75" glory is to surrender, I will not question! The line will rise again one day! We have nothing to fear, but fear itself! Today, we are cancelling the apocalypse! America!!!

Too much?

The Ms Marvel/Human Torch team up pic reminded me; I know a lot of people are annoyed that we don't have a matching Johnny Storm to the rest of the F4. Therefore, I suggest taking TWS unmasked Cap head and putting it on a Reed body. Failing the Cap head, just take the Johnny with the flame hair. I don't know if this has been suggested before, but it seems like a pretty easy fix.

That is a smoking deal! Thanks for the heads up kylactus I just ordered one.
As for Vision, I would think they would have to re-release him in some form, I just hope it isn't in some crappy 5 POA form. I ordered a head off of Vortious I just need to get around to painting it for my Vision custom. It would be funny if we see Wolverine in Age of Ultron (I know it's not gonna happen but I have read Sony may let Spiderman join the Marvel cinematic universe).
It is clear to see Legends is getting most of Hasbro's love right now.. I mean that Iron Fist looks amazing with all of those alternate hands and the alternate head for Ms. Marvel. I just hope the love returns for the 4" stuff... I would love a machine man.

Is it just me, or does it look like he doesn't have leg/feet joints?

Easy pass.

He has no leg joints and scrawny arms.... but he is shorter than the BAF.... I have seen some group shots on FaceBook and he makes a nice stand in in their collections. Might make good parts to pop on a ML figure for a custom???? Remeber that recipe that JimmyO shared that he found and then made of his Groot? The ML Young Patriot with Branch Bash Groot (which he painted beautifully).... maybe those parts *could work better? Either way, being in between the the Branch Bash Groot (aka Happy Meal Groot) and the BAF version might be just the right scale for some.

@en sabah... I read your last post picturing your bearded sig guy talking in front of a waving flag......also you were wearing a Texas theme speed-o . Thats when it got weird, thank goodness it wasn't 2 paragraphs!!!

@Jedi.... good call. I use the dark blue with the white boots for our gang of four, I know that Johnny matches. I think that Reed is from the Ultron 2 pack and The Thing is the one with pants on and white boots....anyway,we use the cooler flame-on version anyway. In that suit choice the Sue is the one that doesn't match. Again, we just use the invisible version. I like your choice though as you can all four in a matching suit....

@bmorr...I always LOVE your team up Tuesday pics and log on like a giddy school girl in anticipation!

I had an extra Reed from the three pack that I just popped the head off and used the flat colored Human Torch head. At one point the only Human Torch I was missing was the one from the SDCC Invaders set, but I'm cool with not having that one as I wouldn't open it anyway. I really like the way the Human Torch head looks on the Reed body as there was no tooling and all in perfect scale, plus I finally got all the FF in one outfit which was a major gripe of mine, probably what led me to getting so many different Human Torches.

On a related note does anyone else hate the Human Torch Buck? I can never get him to stand up straight plus I am not sure if anyone noticed in my video I posted a week or so ago that the only 2 figures that fell over were Human Torch bodies, Skrull Soldier and Electro. I blame the hinged ankles it is so hard to get them to stand flat footed.

Not at all, they're probably playing catch up if anything...the movie stuff must have overwhelmed BNM stores I'm thinking is the reason why they skipped out on the MI stuff, seeing as how they didn't have any real relation to the marvel movies that came out, until the single MI of the GOTG stuff came along...

I will check them out when I find some time and some money. I have heard of them but have not made it out there.

I did walk into Fry's Electronics for the first time ever and was amazed by the place. They had some older 3.75 spider-man stuff which was an easy pass for me, and they had everyone from MI wave 1 except wasp. But at least I found another BNM MI outlet.

Well, after quick repaint it turns out to be a decent figure - check these customs:
Guardians of the Galaxy Groot Custom Action Figure

Also, you can get it very very cheap here:

So, recently Kylactus told us that there could possibly be a MU Omega Red "variant" figure (glossy and matte sideburns). To find out if this was true or not, I did what I've always done in the past. I call it "trial & error". I've done this with variants that are very hard to tell the difference from photos alone. The hardest ones I've ever had to solve are the three Red Hulk variants and the two Vision Phasing variants. How it works is I ask the seller to provide me the 5 digit physically imprinted number on the back of the card and if it's a different number that the one I have, I buy it, trial & error.

Conclusion: Not only is it a matte glossy sideburns variant, but it is also a "dark face wash" and "light face wash" variant (and I think this is why the sideburns look matte on one and glossy on the other).

Numbers: Darker Face Wash MU Omega Red 32451; Lighter Face Wash MU Omega Red 32611.

Again, photos will not help much but I'll do my best... You're just going to have to trust me on this, Lol...

PS.. I'm glad it only took three purchases as opposed to 6 with Phasing Vision and about 8 with the Red Hulk.

Line up...

Light Wash (look at the cheeks, forehead and chin. especially the forehead).

Dark Wash (look at the cheeks, forehead and chin. especially the forehead).

Light Wash (look at the cheeks, forehead and chin. especially the forehead).

Dark Wash (look at the cheeks, forehead and chin. especially the forehead).

Light Wash (look at the cheeks, forehead and chin. especially the forehead).

Dark Wash (look at the cheeks, forehead and chin. especially the forehead).

Thank you for your kind attention.
